Non magnetic meteorite
Meteorites with no or very weak magnetism are typically those containing little to no free metallic
iron or strongly magnetic sulfides. Some groups of meteorites with little to no magnetism include:
1.CI Chondrite
2.CM Chondrite
3.Enstatite Chondrites
4.Ureilite meteorites
5.Aubrite meteorites
6.Angrite meteorites
7.Lunar meteorites
8.Martian meteorites
In general, non-magnetic meteorites are those rich in silicates without free iron,
or with high oxidation levels but lacking sulfides and free metals.

Mafic rock - gabbro- XRF testing
มุมมอง 20114 วันที่ผ่านมา
Main mineral in Gabbro Plagioclase Feldspar: Brightly colored mineral, often dominant in gabbro. Pyroxene: A dark mineral that contributes to the black or dark gray color of gabbro. Olivine: Sometimes present, enhancing the mafic character of the rock, but less common. To examine the detailed chemical composition, we use an X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (XRF), which helps determine the conten...

I'm so happy this isn't a clumsy A.I. broadcast.
l found meteorite about 8 years ago black on the out side l hit it 5 times with a 20lb slug hammer before it broke open like a diamond and white sparkling gold on the in side consistent though out weighs 72 + grams and less the inch and a half in height and 1 inch wide very low or seems to be no magnetic response
Mantap.❤❤❤

Some achondrites have tiny traces of iron flecks . In general no they don't. They do however have iron sulfides
That's right, If there is free metal, it will attract a magnet.
Nice closeup clarity. I know some of the guys that had found or sold to someone who has had a few of these classified. I have a slice myself nwa 13227 😊
People deliberately did not take clear photos to create curiosity for buyers to explore.

Thank you for this convenient rock identification TH-cam channel, that will save me time in researching, which is more time that can be devoted to dowsing for sought elements. I will return a time saving process for yourself to quickly learn how to apply physics in dowsing for sought elements. In the 1970's my father and I reverse engineered the physics involved in dowsing (the same physics that energizes the alarm on electronic metal detectors), and we invented the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod for applying dowsing physics in locating our old core-drill on the exact center of gold and silver veins, that are buried under 200 feet of glacier rock and till, which worked out perfectly for us. I wrote the book to teach the world how to apply physics in dowsing. My book: The Art of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition ($14.95), by Michael Fercik, explains all the physics involved in dowsing and teaches how to build the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod, which is the only dowsing rod that accurately gauges the element that is being dowsed by pitting the energy of gravity against the energizing of the pure one-tenth ounce dowsing rod load that is tapped into the ELEVATED acetylene welding rod, which free spins on ball bearings. This precisely gauges the dowsing of all edges, exact center, depth buried with angle of deposition, and most important is grading or deciphering the amount of the dowsed element that is contained in the elemental mass that is being dowsed. Anybody can become a professional dowser by practicing my book's dowsing lessons of buried pipelines and electrical cables, tunnels and voids, precious and base metal placer and lode deposits, dowsing for treasure, dowsing for any element, amplified long distance dowsing from a moving vehicle, and dowsing on water from a boat. I hope dowsing enriches your life intellectually and financially.

interesting! I missed phonolitic basalt. It gives a nice sound when you walk over pieces. Have seen pillow basalt in deep gorges, at the very base of a volcano in the atlantic ocean.
Your experience is interesting.
Sorry but your transcript Doesn't add any information as to what these jaspers are called! I was hoping to learn something other than seeing un-named jaspers and trying to Guess what they are/were. I expect many jaspers have been found & named since the 1980's & certainly since the 1960's when I was beginning to learn about rocks & lapidary. Have there been any books published with photos showing the many kinds of Jaspers? If so, can you refer your viewing audience to titles/authors which would help us all learn more than we currently do? Would have enjoyed the video more if I'd known what jaspers I was looking at. I expect other viewers would have too. Thanks for sharing.
THank you Sir !
Where are the comments to identify these jaspers?
Based on the mineral composition inside, I concluded it was jasper. Its hardness is about 5-6 Mohs

For over 12 years I kept my Martian Meteorite with my other stones not knowing it was Martian anti I sow it in this collection and recognise that my is Mach you can see it in my next video “ meteorites we love them”
Congratulations!
Hello! Very useful video! Is it possible that this type of meteorite has corroded from being in the ground?
Meteors containing a lot of free iron that fall to Earth over thousands of years will decompose in the humid tropical environment. In other environments, they will be weathered.
@@meteorock I recently found something that looks a lot like Sericho Pallasite, but I can't attach a photo here for an opinion on whether you really think it's meteorite (at least in appearance).
