Is there any way to add compass to the hUD system?
My remote start doesn’t work. It’s not worth a fuck. I can start my Honda Civic from a mile away using the remote start.
Hey! If you're having troubles with your remote start I would stop by the dealer and see if they can take a look at it. Or if you haven't set up the Toyota App yet. Do that and make sure you accept the terms and conditions to get your Service Connect or Safety Connect active. That will activate the computer and your remote start should work.
How fast can you go in 4h and 4L?
@@joshuahernandez7244 Great question! 4Hi there is no set speed. So once you get it engaged you can drive over 65mph. In 4Lo you will want to avoid driving over 25-30mph to prevent damage to your 4WD components.
Its work, thank you
No problem!
I just went into settings and made all doors unlock by default when I open the driver door. Prior to that if I opened the front passenger door, all doors unlock.
I have a 2025 1794. Is there any way to change the ambient lighting color? Thanks!!
Hey! Great question! There is not a way at this time to change the color of the ambient lighting.
2024 engine bearing are also failing..The bottom line is way too much risk in buying this generation Tundra Year 22 Crap year 23 crap year 24 crap…….only a VI village idiot would buy a 2025 or any Tundra plus no data exist yet on the crate engines reliability Toyota has been caught many time lying by The US Government and issued large fines I own three Toyotas one which is 21 tundra which I had to install a trans cooler because Toyota deleted it and lied that It was not needed so TRUST BUT VERIFYING BEFORE YOU BUY A TOYOTA ANYthing CHECKING AT LEAST 24 months of reliability use
Nice job men! You both did a great overall review. Beautiful truck.❤
@@atomicorang thank You! We appreciate your support!
One of the few disappointments I have on my new Tundra. The fob range for remote start is weak. Why the 3 button press instead of having a separate button on the remote? And who at Toyota thought having the truck turn off when you open the door while remote start is activated was a good idea-seems like unnecessary use of the starter and if I activate the remote start it indicates I'm going to drive the truck, no need to shut it down just so I have to restart. I'm guessing Toyota claims it's for security reasons?
Thank you for your feedback! We're a non-opinionated platform so we don't take sides. Though Toyota has updated most of their other vehicles to address your concerns such as the All-New Tacoma and 4Runner. Hopefully Toyota will decide to give the same treatment in a mid-refresh to the Tundra and Sequoia. If they do, we will be the first to show you!
Looks nice but way over priced for what it is.
It’s like they wanted to put a third row in but it lost the votes at the last minute.
Short and to the point. Well done.
Thank you for your support!
They removed the compass? Weird.
I have issues with turn by turn nav on HUD, lot of time, it didn't show on HUD At first I thought because I used apple car play to route so we changed to route with car's routing same issue. No nav info on HUD I think there are ton of bugs in new camry's OS
Hey! We're sorry to hear that! If you're experience issues with the OS I would recommend stopping by your local dealer and they should be able to help you out.
😍😍
I bought a 2024 Tundra 1794, specifically because the Tundra Recall Notice for crankshaft bearings specified only the 2022 and 2023. The Toyota Dealer explicitly stated to me that the crankshaft bearing problem was fixed for 2024. He was under-informed or lying. As a long time Toyota owner, I believed that Toyota would not still be selling an engine two years after a significant problem was identified. Subsequent to my purchase I learned that the 2024s are blowing up, just like the 2023/2022s, and now there are reports of 2025's blowing up, and reports of the replaced engines blowing up! th-cam.com/video/f3sQtX6bz8E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ML0gocGDZXWSOtOJ I unloaded the 2024 Tundra at a significant loss - FIVE days after buying it. I don't like roulette. I feel that both the Toyota Dealer and the Toyota Corporation betrayed me. Instead of focusing on reliability in engineering and manufacturing, Toyota has focused on complicated, expensive and increasingly absurd trim items. Complexity is the enemy of reliability. I am done with Toyota. Hey! Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're a non-opinionated platform, however we really appreciate your feedback. Its always important for people to have all the facts when making big decisions! Toyota's motto is "Kaizen", so hopefully down the road your experience with Toyota will change. Can I drive in sport mode all the time?
@hugolanderos5633 Yes! Though if you restart the vehicle then it will default back to Normal mode if you had it in Sport Mode. You can lock it in Eco Mode all the time even if you restart the vehicle.
Yes
Thanks man! I now know how to use it after 1.5 years of ownership
No problem! I'm glad we could help out!
Thanks
Thanks for sharing the auto parking brake feature! What is the "Hold" button above it?

This design is getting old. Need a new redesign with 4 turbos and all electric.
No mention of engine or trans. Beautiful truck that only a few can afford
Thank you for the feedback! You should see more mentions of powertrains in future videos!
Gracias
Do the side cameras come on during lane changes at highway speeds like the Hondas have?
Hey @thereefaholic great question! The cameras do not turn on during lane change. They can only be used under 5 mph.
@ swing and a miss Toyota.
A video on how to adjust the shocks in the seats would be helpful.

Nice. Didn’t know they did that I was thinking about swapping them for amber in the future. But no need!
Is there turn by turn nav on it.
@@brobob52 There is indeed! If you have a route in the onboard navigation it will display on the HUD.
@ToyotaDuo any chance u can make a vid on it and the onboard nav
@brobob52 that's a great idea! We'll get to work on one for you!
Apparently not for Android Auto.
So what are the ideal conditions for selecting 1, 2, or 3?
@TXCobra1169 I apologize for the delay! We were doing a bunch of research on your question to make sure you had the right information. These shocks allow compression damping adjustment. Setting 1 is your softest ride that you'll want to use for rock crawling or smoother trails. Setting 2 you'll want to use for daily driving, or if you're carrying extra gear or people you can stiffing it up a bit to prevent too much bouncing. Setting 3 is the firmest and will protect you from bottoming out your truck when you're zooming through the desert and catching some air. I hope this helps!
Is the 2023 trd pro same? To adjust
@@appleztooranges Hey! I apologize for the late reply. The 2023 TRD Pro Fox Shocks are not adjustable like this. The 4th generation Tacoma is the first time they’ve introduced it. Though, if you’re wanting adjustable shocks on your 2023 the aftermarket does supply a huge variety.
thanks for the tip
My sequoia 2025 masage seats stop working after some time? Any thoughts how to fix it ?
@@tobaccomart307 Hey! I apologize for the late reply! The massaging seats are designed to turn off automatically after approximately 15 mins. At this time there is no fix, but we are looking into a way to extend the duration. If we find out a way we will definitely keep you in the loop!
What if you pull the red loop while someone is still sitting on the chair on front of you?
Hey! I apologize for the super late response! We had to get our hands on another Sequoia to test it! So that red loop is connected to the same handle that you can use to recline and tumble the seats. If someone is sitting in the seat when its pulled they will just be reclined in their seat. You will not have squished passenger situation!
Thanks!
No problem! 😁
Thanks!
Thanks for the video! Couple of questions. Can this be installed on a non hybrid Tacoma? And is there a switch inside the truck to turn it on? Or is it just the power button on the actual unit.
Hey! Great questions! We dug into this a bit, and it looks like Toyota does not currently offer a way to install the on-board compressor on the other trim levels. Though ARB does have compressors that can be integrated into the engine bay! But, if the demand is there for it then Toyota may provide an aftermarket solution utilizing the Trailhunter compressor. Regarding the switch, all of the controls are on the unit itself. There is not a way to activate it inside the vehicle at this time. Thank you for taking the time to ask!
@@ToyotaDuo great thanks!
Can't see the display
No worries! You're totally right! We are currently trying to figure out a way for the shutter speeds to match. We will be putting a secondary video out down the road specifically for the screen so you guys can get a better look at it. Thank you for the feedback!
Best Review
Thank you!!
I have 4 tires, is there an adapter I can do all four at the same time?
Great question! There is not currently an adapter from Toyota, but we are hopeful the after market will provide one for this truck soon! For now we have to fill up one tire at a time.
To bad is just a 4 cyl. Toy truck.
Thank you for your feedback! We're a non-opinionated platform so we don't take sides. There are a lot of mixed opinions on the 4cyl. however, I highly recommend going to your local dealer and testing one out if you haven't already!
@ done that. 2024-25 is just an expenssive toy truck. Lost the traditional toyota essence. Now is just another copy paste like almost all other mid size trucks.
