Amazing video, thank you
@jimmyanthony6557 Glad it helped.... Thank you
Awesome video!,!!! My problem was in the rear end area mouse ate the wires: Thanks you ,,
Heck yeah. I have a CK 2610 too. Great machine 👍🏻👍🏻
This was very helpful. Does anyone know what temperature the engine case would be for this to trigger the thermosensor? Ie using a temp gone to confirm the tempsensor is working or is that idependant to the oil overheat light?
I thought about putting an aftermarket temperature gauge on mine, and wiring the fan straight to a toggle switch so when it gets hot enough I can turn the fan on. My question is, What temperature does a 400 foreman get to, or how hot is it supposed to get for the fan to come on?
Very informative video my friend. This is what needs to be on TH-cam.
@@PreacherDan Thank you... I hope it helped....
How do I check other parts on it I put power to fan and it come on but when I grounded that singer no fan need help
Commenting again because somehow, I deleted my original comment. I found a fix for a faulty fan control module buried on a Honda forum and it worked for me. If you fan runs with 12V applied and you know your FCM is faulty, you can try baking it in an oven at 450 degrees for 7-10 minutes. The idea is that this melts the solder inside and reflows any broken joints. I gave it a try on my dead FCM and couldn't believe it worked. Prior to deleting my original comment, I think two more folks replied that this worked for them.
Great video ! Is there a part number for that relay ?
VERY GOOD VIDEO THANKS. THIS IS THE SAME SET UP AS A KIOTI CK3010. ONE OF MY CABLES RUSTED OUT AND BROKE AND BENT ONE OF THE PISTONS UP TOP.. GOOD IDEA TO MARK EVERYTHING TAKE PICTURES, VIDEO AND DRAWINGS LOST MY MARKS WHEN CLEANING THE PISTON BODY.
That allen screw on bottom is what I was missing thank you. Rubex cube is an understatement
I hate this thing so much
Thanks great video
You do awsome videos ,and there never to long.if you would have shown me the circuit breaker I wouldn't have know now I can disconnect my toggle switch .with the plug end from a old stater hooked to a toggle to bat.also your a good teacher, very easy to understand better than partzilla. Awesome keep up the good work .Wayne from Calgary alberta
It doesn't actually make a ground. The temp switch gets to a certain resistance that the module reads then it decides to kick fan on. I use a normal sensor that actually grounds like one used for a dummy light. It eliminates the computer.
Great work! Hardly anyone seems to be doing a good job covering the bucket controls on small tractors. You are the exception. Thank you!
Thank you very much....
Very helpful 👍
This definitely helped with my problem. I did this test and the fan came on. However when I plugged the wire back into the thermosensor the light was still on. Long story short it ENDED UP BEING THE FEMALE PLUG THAT THE THEROSENSOR WIRE PLUGS INTO WAS LOOSE.. I took needle nosed pliers and squeezed that female connector where it was gapped back together to make a tighter fit when the male went into the female. Warmed the quad up and low and behold the fan came on. It took a while to get to temp for the fan to kick on so be patient. Thank you for this video it with out a doubt got rid of my headache on this problem.👍👍👍
@rizzoatc That’s awesome, glad it helped... Sorry I don't always respond instantly.... but I really like hearing it helped. I'm not the greatest at videos, but every so often I try to show how you can trouble shoot etc.. Thank you
Thanks. You helped me figure out my 2008 had a bad relay. 8 dollars next day and I bought a pack of 4 with 5 pins, works like a charm because there is an empty slot for that 5th one. Also I wasn't able to tap on mine and make it run it just wouldn't but after I put 12 volts through the middle one and it made it come on I knew. Thanks again. Also I noticed mine was coming on then stopping then coming on the day before it just stopped working, i bought mine with the radiator relocated and snorkeled so I could see it easy
Your very welcome.... I'm glad it helped... Thank you
Very nice instructions and showing the location.
I’am just going to hookup switch to turn fan on. Just can’t trust that crappy oil sensor. Then I know it’s cooling motor
Might just buy this battery and secure it with a ratchet strap
How do you actually change the balls stems??? How do you get them all the way out to replace the plastic ends ones with the all metal ones?? Any one with instructions?
Nice bud 👍 👏🏆👴🐕🚜🤠🇺🇸😎🙏
I grounded the wire to the temp sensor and the fan turns on then right off. And if I leave it grounded the fan will cycle on then off every minute or so. Do you have any ideas? The temp sensor, fcm and fan motor are all new.
I would hook everything back up and run the machine to verify it's working... or not working properly. It does take a while at idle for the fan to turn on. If it cycles on and off it should be fine, the overheat light only turns on after it's very hot. If you have replaced those parts, I would definitely verify everything again, these machines run hot and sometimes it's deceiving, it seems like the fan should be on when the system is actually ok. If the overheat light illuminates then obviously it's to hot, but I would start there. Hopefully this helps.
Thank you finally someone within BS on fixing one of these
What a yarn far out
Having overheating on 2004 600 grizzly, heard the fan running so assumed it was OK and started thinking weak water pump. Your viedo helped will now jump temp sensor to confirm fan running continuously. Any thoughts on troubleshooting water pump and thermostat. I started rig cold with radiator cap off and waited to heat up trying to see increase flow through radiator as the thermostat should have opened. Didn't see what I expected as more water flow. After testing fan will replace thermostat and waterpump. Am I overlooking anything else I should check?
Before replacing anything you should check both sides of the radiator, feel the hoses and verify they are both getting hot. If they are then it's flowing coolant. Water pumps on these machines don't really become weak because they are so basic. They either work or they leak "pretty much ". But also make sure the actual radiator fins are clean, if it's plugged up with mud etc it's going to run really hot. Then you need to continue to follow it through. Also how is the coolant level? I'm thinking it's ok considering what you have done, but also has that ever been changed? Because coolant does deteriorate over time, especially if it's original. Before buying parts you have to verify everything. Hopefully this helps.... thank you
Perfect.. thank you. helped me get my issue figured out :)
Your welcome, glad it helped....
What kind of battery is it
It's just a lawnmower style battery from Walmart, they all seem to be about the same quality. Just more cranking amps than a standard mule battery.
My oil light and fan runs all the time. Could it be oil sensor?
It's possible, but you will have to try and narrow it down, you could try unplugging it at the oil temp sensor and go from there... see if it shuts off and start eliminating things... thank you
I did exactly what u said , mine would not start at all , I did what u said and showed and it made all the difference, thank u. Mines a 2022 with 1 mile on it lol foot shift model. Thanks again .
No problem, glad it helped... 👍
Thanks for taking the time to post this, the battery on my 610 Mule just died and this is a great help!
Hi, I know this video is a couple years old but I have a question if you don't mind. I have the same tractor and was curious how well yours handles this plow? Do you think it can handle the 94" Titan plow? The 94" is about 60lbs. heavier. Thanks
I wouldn't go any bigger than a 6ft personally.... it's not the weight of the plow, it's how much snow can the tractor handle when it's deep or heavy wet snow. Just my experience... thanks 👍
@@savagebeast8476 Thanks for the quick reply. Mine is a 2017 great machine. I understand what you mean. I just turned up the fuel pressure to get the extra 9hp out of it. It's essentially the same motor as the 3510. It was like night and day after I adjusted it.
Very nice... extra power is a good thing
@@savagebeast8476 It sure is. I didn't turn it up too much, just enough. My loader was a little weak from the factory, so I ended up turning up the pressure and used a pressure gauge. 600psi makes a huge difference in the loader!
What about jumping the wires and it showing you the position like the bigger models also do you know how to read the codes?
My fan was seized, this helped confirm that. Thank you.
A mi cuadron c m fue la corriete
I just run a switch to the fan on theground side with a fuse and done.

Thanks for sharing this. I suspected my fan on my 2k Rancher 350 ES wasn't working. Checked the fuse. good. Disconnected the temp sensor and grounded the wire. No joy. Disconnected the fan, ran jump leads from the battery. Fan came on. Sweet! I hooked all the connections back up. No Joy. hmmm. I probe the green wire to the fan. Found 12 volts. I grounded the blue wire leading to the fan motor. again, no joy. Now I'm perplexed. It's obviously not getting a command on from the FCU. Any ideas before I fire off the parts cannon? Thanks & Cheers from Louisiana.
King of what not
Thanks. That was very helpful.
Excellent video. Saved me a lot of time! Thank you!
My oil light stays on !what do you think my family works when jumped 12 volt
Wants to say thank you, it was a little long winded but the solution to the problem was there and we got r done within 5 min of watching. Thanks very much for posting.
Thanks for your advice, changed oil temp sensor, light still on after I turn on engine… stays on. Gonna replace fan module next, hope that fixes red light staying on issue…Can you just reach in and pull the fan module out … I need to replace mine… any tips?
Just pull it out of the rubber boot and unplug it. Thanks
@@savagebeast8476 thanks, replaced fan module, works perfect!
I’m not a mechanic, quick question, my oil temp light won’t go out, stays on. I’ll just change oil sensor, cheap part. It unscrews from bottom, but how do you disconnect wire side? Is it easy? Is there a disconnect on the wire side? Does it just pull apart? Any advice would be great…
Yes it's easy, just pull it off, no special tools. Thank you
What if the fan only runs when I pull the thermal sensor without the paper clip in it?
This is exactly what is happing with my machine. I tested fan with auxiliary battery… it turned on. I plugged fan in, I started the machine and the unplugged the thermo connection and then the fan turned on before I put the paper clip in!
So what does that mean?
Nice video! My 2014 dk 40 joystick just broke loose (tractor was split recently for trans oring) no raise/lower. My loader has metal balls, looks good. Could my cable of snapped?
Thank you that fixed mine too . Wow I couldn’t finitely out . Thank you for that tip 👍🏻
