A phony consecration
Why is it phony? The CEC's apostolic succession comes from an orthodox line. It's valid.
Awesome, this truly is the Evangelical Charismatic tradition returned to Apostolic teaching, and bringing with it all the good it has inherited therefrom.
Yes. I'm trying to start a CEC in my hometown. This may be the closest thing man can get to the true catholic church.
@@legacyandlegend I attend an Anglican Catholic Church which theologically and missionally is quite similar when done right (many of the bishops that founded our denomination {though it is important to note that it was not originally a denomination in it of itself, but the mainline stopped adhering to the inspiration of scripture in the strict sense which caused an automatic ceasing of communion according to our canons on a church-by-church basis} converted from evangelical denominations, and they still have a lot of those same sensibilities), though some of our churches look like military installations as one Orthodox priest who got trapped in reformational England once said.
Actually, I think I saw that CEC bishops attended one of our synods recently, but I absolutely love the church service because growing up I would pingpong between a bible fellowship church and a more traditional anglican one. This is one of the few cases of high theology but contemporary worship done right, which neither feels forced (like it's trying to sell something all the time) nor does it feel like a museum. Nor, also, does it feel like it is from another continent, though it clearly has threads that reach to the global and ancient faith in its liturgy. It is clearly a product of the American church in a unique way that is rare to find in other denominations (though I know it is global) due to its unique formation. It is fitting that a church which is charismatic would discover the value in the epiclesis and the charisms passed from Pentecost to now through the succession of the apostles while retaining what they have learned from those charisms available to all the faithful, which we were reminded of in the shadow of the darkness and faithlessness of cessationist theology at Azusa street.
@omeganinjaboy I almost became anglo-catholic. What stopped me was I don't agree with female priests and I don't like the idea of how diverse anglicanism is. I like doctrinal unity in a church. Also I was raised pentecostal, so I've always been charismatic. Anglo catholics are a great denomination though.
@@legacyandlegend Out of curiosity, what denomination are you right now?
A church with an identity crisis/
How?
Or maybe an identity rediscovered...

oh hey you met bp.mike too I met him last year when he visited I was the proclaimer when he concelebrated with Bp.Ariel here in the Philippines
Very well done. I came to town to ride the Stewartstown Railroad and saw this nice church. I had never been in Stewartstown before, but found it a very, very nice town. My aunt has been a nun in a parish similar to this in Somerset, Ohio and it is called "Holy Trinity." It's about the same size of town as Stewartstown. I would like to return and visit this fine parish. Thank you for posting this fine, positive video.
I can't believe what I'm reading about Apostolic Succession and the CEC. Our Apostolic Succession WAS confirmed by Rome. Someone needs to do their homework. What I'm reading below are words of the Pharisees.
wow

Very well done and a true description of the ICCEC. I am proud to be a part of this church and the Convocation. I encourage everyone to join us at this Pro-Life event. God loves LIFE!
me too, this is the church where I was born in, I also hold the legacy of my grandpapa a pillar of the church in Manila
Fr. Jim Great passion! Fr. Robert
Absolutely beautiful! Glory be to God in the highest! Fr. Robert
Fundamentalist because they believe that the word of God is true? Because they are fighting against rampant liberality- gay clergy and marriage, abortion, and biblical revisionism? Because they actually set boundaries for behavior? Because they promote accountability in men? Because they believe Jesus is the The Way, The Truth and The Life and that no man comes to the Father except by him? Because they don't ordain women? Because they don't tolerate everything?
Outstanding and true presentation! In Jesus name.
Outstanding and moving! Stay blessed in Him!
amen!
Absolutely beautiful! Send more on the entire mass.
We are working on an instructed Eucharist video right now. Should be done in about a month.
I have a question for you, "Would you have a video regarding the Holy Eucharist?"
I simply love this church! Great move of God indeed!
Love what the pastor said,"The church is about Christ in you, the hope of Glory", what a spot on statement because as we read in Scripture, we are to die to ourselves and let Christ live in us.
@baritonesinger95 They believe the Bible, in other words they love you, however they cannot go against what the Bible teaches, as it is God's word. True Bible Believer's love, and not hate, nor judge those outside church, however we will not set aside our values. We will stand for what the bible says, and give it final authority over all our actions, decisions, and values. So yes we love you, but we cannot, with a right conscience, marry you, nor accept you in a ministerial position.
I love liturgical worship. I was born Jewish, adopted raised catholic, left Catholicism at age 13 and went back to Judaism. Almost two years ago I gave my heart to Yeshua, and was baptized, I am now a Pentecostal (not just because of the church I attend, but also because of my beliefs, however I am a Calvanist when it comes to salvation), however I still love the liturgy, as long as it is Christ centred, thus I love the BCP. Seeing your church, makes we wish we had one here in Calgary. LOVE IT
Come back to Catholic. Jesus is fully present in Holy Eucharist.
Does the CEC accept the LGBT community?
@neatfacerecords Yeah, it really is exciting! I had my family, friends, and even my daughter play important characters. Trust me. It has a good ending. It's not a horror flick. Thanks for everything!
Totally just played this tonight at our church service, beautiful and touching song. God bless!!!
Now why do you feel the need to post that comment taskete? Has this video hurt you in some way?
Brain wash, brain wash, brain wash
@TheWink56 I'm saying after, which is when the line the ICCEC lays claim to began. Besides, *any* ordination not performed in union with the Church is illicit. Costa's authority was bequeathed to him through the papacy. Therefore, any use of that authority in direct opposition to the papacy is illicit. We never see, in Scripture or in Tradition, apostolic succession as a license to do one's own thing. Those who were "sent" were sent as legatees of the Church, not themselves.
@keith920718 Are you saying that the ordinations performed before his excommunication are illicit? Or are the ordinations performed after his excommunication illicit? Does his excommunication invalidate his ministry prior to his excommunication? If it does, there are a lot of invalid sacraments in both the Catholic Church and is sectarian church.
Bishop Costa, from whom the ICCEC's apostolic succession is derived, was excommunicated by the Catholic Church. He then started his own, sectarian church. Hence, the apostolic succession derived from him, while technically valid, is illicit.

The Charismatic Episcopal Church has its Apostolic Succession within the historical episcopate through Roman Catholic Bishop Carlos Duarte Costa. This Apostolic Succession of the CEC has been confirmed by the Roman Catholic Church. All 40 Bishops who serve worldwide, as well as all clergy of the CEC are undeniably within Apostolic Succession.
That is simply not true.

It is this epistemology (Christian World View) that has provided the freedom for one to hold and proclaim any philosophy that one desires: even ones as bereft of reason as atheism, and/or secular humanism.
The black flash frames are not in the original. These only appear on TH-cam, and I'm too lazy to upload it again. There are white flash frames however. Seamus+
@fancladz i dont see a problem with these shots in the least. only an extreme pixel peeper would find a way to be critical. i think the camera moves keep it from being too staggnet and gives the shots a more human feel to have the camera doing subtle pans. nice job on the spot and i think it conveys a warm feeling about the subject matter!
Are you talking about jello-vision? Because there is none of that in these shots. The pans are too slow. If you're talking about a little judder, which I see in this compression; it is not in the original.
Looks like a good mystery thriller!
