Out there getting it. You like your guard on your trimmer? I can’t stand it
@@CuttaSquad trying man. Ive used a Stihl with out the guard on it. Just haven’t taken mines off the echo They do tend to get the way
My Green works hand held tools have worked out great for me and I can't say enough about Weed Killer it's a liquid trimmer for sure💯💪🏾
That’s what up! Good eco friendly lawn care equipment is hard to find . The grass killer sets up for a nice curb appeal. A good way to be professional when you start
hey man. I commented on a post a while ago saying how you helped me start my small business. it is now mid July and I can't thank you enough. I have went from a small business to a fully grown company at 17 years old and started hiring employees because there was too many jobs, I couldn't do it by myself. I am now going to college soon and this has helped so much. I started this journey as a test run, not thinking it would ever be as big as it is now. you are really changing peoples lives man. I have learned so much along this journey, such as communication, marketing, scheduling, and hiring. just want to let you know that you have really changed my life. Stay blessed.
Man I definitely remember you! That’s what’s up! That’s what this all about my man. You’re #1 on the list of lawn care businesses this channel has helped. 1999 to go. At 17 you’ve accomplished more than guys twice your age. Keep pushing! Enjoy college it’ll be the best time of your life. Have fun but take it seriously. There’ll be plenty of time to grow your business. Hopefully one day will get you on the channel. Appreciate you. I love to know what other topics you’d like to see on the channel
The jumpscare at the end💀

You are correct my friend! Appreciate the engagement. Something to do when it’s raining lol
Never heard of pas? They comprobable to stihl?
PAS is a unit offered by a few manufacturers just a way for you to add attachments vs a regular straight shaft system
I have used the SRM 225 for years and wouldn't use anything else.
Good deal. The SRM 225 has to be the best overall!
Bought mine three years ago. It is an absolute unit. By FAR, the best "pound for pound" trimmer I've had in the last 25 years.
@@imcnblu 25 yrs that’s the best I’ve heard! Wow. I appreciate that info and I’ll make sure to mention it in my next video. Thanks for the support!
Echo has made it easier to work on for sure but harder to find a dealer is why I like stihl best 😊
Stihl is a Great Brand! Echo is more new lawn care business friendly and easy to find videos on TH-cam on how to fix them no dealer needed
My friend. Just found your cannel. You are for the most part right and sometimes bigger CC’s is more power yes, “but” not always I love echo’s I personally use echo 2620T around 25 cc engine. The ( cc ) rating is actually is not combustion cycle. Its stands for cubic centimeters of displacement. Metic I know I know. I’m from Canada 🇨🇦 but we are all still human no matter where we live. Cheers from up north and keep up the great videos.
You’re 100% correct my friend. I definitely screwed up on that one. I had to go back and listen to it. I appreciate you making sure the community is receiving the correct info. You’re pretty knowledgeable in the field and welcome to pass it down in this community. I’ll make a video and make to give you a shout out! You’re comment will be pinned also. Thanks for your support my Canadian friend!
IM SO HAPPY YOU SAID THAT BECAUSE LITERALLY YESTERDAY I JUST BOUGHT THAT BEAST….. i had a smaller one, forgot then name of it but its a curved one, and it was a good one but once i got the new one it was AMAZING. It had more power to it and more weight so it took me a little bit to get used to it but once i got the hand of it! THE BESTT!!😍
@ra8ndr0p41 believe it’s good to know the info in the community is facts. Definitely glad it worked out for you. The one thing that’s hard to find is a light weight and powerful weed eater. I’ve heard the Darwin grips help with the weight. I’ve never used one though. Appreciate the comment. If there’s anything you’d like to see on the channel let me know
This video is spot on. When I first started 16 years ago I did the same thing and wished I would have listened to all the people on TH-cam telling me to spend a little more now and save a lot later! Fast forward to today and all of our stuff is Sthil (trimmers), Echo (saws and bed edgers) and Husqvarna (backpack blowers). None of these units give us much grief and they have mad hours on them. Other than carbs, pull ropes, coils and new spark plugs. These are all things that wear out no matter the OEM that made it. In the end, time is money, especially in this business. It's a great feeling knowing that when you pull the rope, it goes "Varrooom" and setbacks are few and far between from equipment hassles. Remember that all three of these Co's make two levels of equipment, consumer and pro. The box stores have mostly consumer junk designed to be trashed after 30 hours of use When you buy the commercial stuff, don't go to Home Depot thinking your saving $$. If you are gonna' move up and spend more cash, find a local dealer and buy it there. It may be $30 more (or less?) but remember, if there is an issue down the road that dealer has a vested interest in your biz and that big box store could give a flyin' F*# AND they don't handle any warranty or service work. When that happens Lowes or, HD will tell you to find an authorized service center and you end up at the same place you should have gone to in the first. They will probably fix it but since you are not their customer the repair moves to the end of the line (Rightly so). As mentioned in the vid, use straight shaft trimmers and put fresh grease in the tube every Spring. Doing this will make your Echo, Sthil or Husqvarna trimmer last longer than you! AND, your grandkids will be using it to trim the old folks home your at!, Lol Don't get too caught up on which Co made your commercial trimmer. As long as you know it's not cheap stuff? you'll be fine. Just like when guys say Chevy is best? and then two other guys will wanna' fight them cause' everyone knows that Ford or Dodge is #1. Truth is, all 3 make fairly decent trucks so......
I really appreciate all the great info. Would love to pick your brain sometime. I’ve spent 20 yrs in retail and all the info you mentioned from CO’s and customer service I agree with 100 percent. I preach on the channel to make sure wherever you buy your equipment from make sure there’s a dealer close for repairs. I may do video on how important it is to have a relationship with your local dealer, they have the keys to a lot of gates in this business. Again I truly appreciate the info you’ve provided the community. Hope to keep in touch I want all the knowledge I can get!

Will do. I’ve heard some good stuff about some good things about them
How is the pas-225 so far? I saw your video short about the rookie mistake and am curious how it performs for you with the different attachments. Looks like easy going on this hedge work you're doing. I've been looking into the pas system and think it will be fine for home use.
@@SLMays It’s the best I’ve had as far the weight and power. I’m pretty hard on my equipment. Lately with the heat I’m surprised I haven’t had any issues. Just like any other weed eater you’ll have carburetor issue’s and that’s due to the fact that all weed eaters are regulated to run at full throttle. Of course that’s not practical edging around flower beds. It’s easy to find parts or fix yourself The PAS system is great option for home use. Good luck. Let me know what you think. Appreciate the support
I like your format. Its gona work keep doing these
Thanks I appreciate the love and support!
Electric anything is more harmful to the environment than any gas powered tool. Batteries are made of plastics and plastics are made of gas/oil from gas/oil run machines. Then the lithium has to be discarded by yet another gas/oil run machine. Go figure it also releases pollution. Then you have the tiny amounts of pollution that come from the battery in its normal operating state. Then you have to consider the batteries that malfunction and melt the plastic and lithium creating a bunch of pollution. Then you have to consider the manufacturing of the batteries themselves and the transport of these heavy batteries by using diesel gas oil run machines. Gas just releases carbon dioxide and monoxide. Very very much smaller amount of pollution as well. Morons think batteries are clean but in all reality they are not clean at all they are made of toxic metals and acids that are extremely corrosive and toxic. 😅 so yeah naw electro crap can stay in the back shelf for me as far as environmentally friendly I say my ass
Im from Baton Rouge La our lifeblood is gas and petroleum plants exxxonmobil and shell are down the street! We’re well aware of the affects gas plants have on the environment! Appreciate the support!
Interesting
Facts 😂
Black and decker had a electric lawn mower in the late 60s or early 70s my dads cousin had one on Pittsburgh didn't take long for him figure out it wasn't worth it dragging a electric cord around plus he had a large yard needed 2 100ft cords plus they got run over a couple of times😂 .it went to the curb
Man I would love to see one of those bad boys. 😂The cord probably weighed more than the mower! Never knew black and decker sold lawn care equipment that early Appreciate the knowledge and support!
