Hello TH-cam People! Come with me as I wander around Manila and The Philippines! Let's explore the metro cities, roads, provinces and nature. I'm not a Traveler type of person but I do love going out different places to experience and finding something new that will peek my interest and hopefully yours too!
BACLARAN SHOPPING MALL WALK TOUR PASAY CITY 4K ULTRA HD
Baclaran is another busy are in the Metro as it sits between Paranaque and Pasay City. It's where a lot of the main roads like EDSA, Taft Avenue and Roxas Boulevard intersect. In addition both the current "last" station of the LRT and MRT Lines is also located right in the middle of the busy roads. Most of the shops, malls here have been established since the LRT was built in the mid 1980's. You'll definitely find a lot of cheap and good buys here and comparable to the prices in Divisoria. Though most the shops sell clothes and accessories.

Because of its proximity to the shore of Manila Bay, the place was named after a piece of fishing equipment called "baklad". Baklad is a rattan fence placed around the fish to protect them until they are ready to be sold in the market. Many of these baklads were assembled at the seashore, so people started calling the place "Bakladan". The Filipino grammatical feature of changing d's to r's when a suffix is added changed this to "Baclaran".

Best place to buy Jerseys is at 168 Shopping Mall. Just beside 999 Mall. More shops sell jersey in 168 compared to 999. In terms of quality, the pricier the jersey the better the quality and design. Almost all shops sell the same brand & quality. What makes each shop different from others are the design and price. So its always good to roam around first and compare. Also, to get a big discount, try to buy wholesale or minimum of 6 pcs. But you can make the usual "tawad" or discount even if you buy just 1 item. Thank you!
