How to Foundation Paper Piece

This is my version of how I sew my foundation paper piecing patterns. I walk through each step and explain how simple it really is. Please check out my blog for the full post. pitcherfamilyadventures.blogspot.com/
I'm afraid I find this utterly incomprehensible. Why do it backwards?
You do it backwards because with Foundation Paper Piecing, you sew the fabric on the other side. So your image will be flipped. The fabric is on the opposite side of your lines.
Thanks for this tutorial. Just a suggestion to have sample of your steps, especially when you get to the part of adding in seam allowance
Colored pencils for seam allowance lines vs. regular pencil for stitch lines would help.
Interesting. I always wondered why some FPP patterns had those spider web type lines. Thanks for sharing this.
Really useful thank you! Trying to EPP s climbing shoe. Wish me luck!!🎉😂
Thank you. Please make a video demonstrating the actual sewing using the pattern you've created. Thank you.
This was very helpful. Thank you!!
thank you. this was very helpful. 👍🤗
🤦♀️
You did a great job, Sarah! Looking forward to seeing your projects this year!
Thank you Brenda!
Excited to see what you do! I have never been attracted to batiks and never used them, so I am interested in how you will use them. Good luck Ambassador. 😀
I’ll have to use them in some fpp when I can, so all my fellow fpp-ers will get to see how they work out!
That bits and pieces line 😍😍😍 great unboxing!!! I can’t wait to see what you make!
I am in love with it! The colors are even brighter and bolder in person!
Thank you so much for this very good explanation!
You are so welcome
This was very helpful! I would love a video of how to make a complicated pattern! I’ve been loving FPP but want to make my own complex patterns (ie flowers, animals, etc)
Thank you, very good explanation
You’re welcome!
kind or a rocky start, but tot much better; thanks.
