i was 9 years old and watched it live on TV.The township streets were empty as people were glued to screens
My revolutionary legend
Why is it, that African leaders only know what to do when they leave office ? They should do the right things whilst in office !!!!!! They can laugh about their bad choices because, whilst the masses suffer because of their actions, they can retire to their luxury homes built with state monies !!!!! What a BLUNDER !!!!!!!!!
Mbazima Sam Shilowa's singing😢
Great man
Whites were very scared but 1993 they sad thanks to Mandela because he was preaching peace
Wow! Still relevant today !
I was 12 years. We watched the funeral on TV. We didn't have electricity by then. My father ensured that w had enough batteries for TV. There was no school in my township from that Tuesday.
The traitors are here
The traitors are here
❤
So he waa sacricifice in the name of peace 😢😢😢😢😢
I was 17 yrs old doing standard 9 , watching from a black & white tv in the rural area of the former Ciskie
Was Desmond Tutu a necessary puzzle in our struggle, let alone here, though?
Mandela was the real sell out
True
Mzwakhe Mbuli End up in Jail because of his Speech
RIP Hani
✊🏾
Very touching song leading by baba Mbazima Shilowa,RIP Mr Chris Hani , very painful 😭😭💔💔
I was at very young age,but the song leading by Sam Mbazima Shilowa was touching&very sad, with the peoples poet Mzwakhe the repeatition of words Mbulizm
No Truth in world 🌍 In loving memory of, Chris Hani God bless Thank you 💕...
Few decades after, Ramaphosa released Hani's killer and arrested Jacob Zuma. Cadres said nothing
Yasho lento yasho inqibhobho
Mandela was arrested speaking xhosa, and English came out speaking English only fake mandela this one
But today south Africa democracy is a joke more corruption lack of jobs, more party's like a shops
We had this democracy in a hard way
Have we ever received that democracy?
MKP..... Aluta Continua Amandla ✊🏿
2024 still feeling that pain they took our original leader continue rest in peace Tshonyane
Tutu you too you sold us out Mfundisi ndini kazi bakunikani abelungu ngoba bumuhle kubona ngathi Nxa
May his precious soul continue to rest in peace
😢😢I was young watching this live on tv ... We mic u comrade Chris ✊🏿
And fast forward, the AnC government let Walus free with a salary every month for the rest of his life (reward for the job well done).
it still hurts, rest in power GS.
God should have taken Ramaphosa, Mandela not Chris Hani.
This was painful
Who is this leader whos saying stop fire ?
Tokyo sexwale
Tokyo Sexwale
Mr Tokyo Serwale
Cde Chris Hani was killed because he wanted economical emancipation and everything that was due to black people and he was not going to compromise nor short change us as black people the day he died our true freedom died with him
I attended the funeral that day, arrangements to get there was made by comrade moilwa from mahikeng to Johannesburg and they took our bus by the time when we were supposed to go to the grave site, I was 18yrs that time.
True cadre for independence in zim n south africa
Can you upload the whole funeral please 😢
Search Chris Hani VHS you'll find the full funeral
I was young when i was watching this small black and white TV whit my late mom My Brother and my Sister went to Funeral Hamba Kahle Revolutionary ✊✊✊ as an Revolutionary EFF Ground Force im not Lost you were to close whit Mother of the nation Mam Nomzamo Winnie Mandela the way our President in waiting was too close whit him clearly when he sees his it was it was you
😭😭😭😭😭😭
Mzwakhe Mbuli, ANC has done nothing to honor your contribution to the movement 😢😢
True broer eish!!
So true. They turned their backs on all of us
He was ANC!!! He was SACP!!! Ramaphosa knows neither of the two!! ..Ramaphosa doesnt know anything about the ANC, he's just a coconut boy with model C accenr who was bought by the whites to return them to governmentor can i say parliament and having received billions from whites paid them back and did just that!!!
May his soul rest in peace
I was 29 I attended memorial and also funeral I was staying Vosloorus
I was 6 years 😢
I was 6 watching from TV while eating guavas in Northern Transvaal, Gazankulu Homeland, Bungeni Village. I remember the doves 🕊️, white hearse, FNB stadium, gun salute and the struggle song "Hamba Kahle Mkondo" And now sadly the perpetrator is released without giving us an extensive full detail of the motive, mastermind and all accomplices. It's a pity that we are too lenient and soft. In no time the government will return to white settlers as we sit and watch whilst fighting among ourselves. We will never be free as long as our brains blow away like dust in the wind given the propaganda spread by white capitalists owned media 😢.
Not yet uhuru
This almost stopped the whole democracy project of the ANC
Do we really have the democracy we claim to have?
Heyi🤞🏽 I remember how thick the air was even though I was very young but we felt everything through my aunt who was an activist
Even when she and her comrades traveled to the funeral, somehow we expected anything to happen to them
