'That's a thing you gotta trust. You gotta mean it, and you gotta treat it gentle. The music, it's that road…it's the thing that brings you to everything else. You have to trust that.' - Sidney Bechet (1897 - 1959)
What types of scales are you using?
@@orotewilderness2913 good question! I mainly think of chords and the notes in between. And the blues scale with added chromatic notes.
‘It's all about creation and surprise. It just needs to be appreciated and watered like flowers. You have to water flowers. These peaks will come again.’ - Sonny Rollins (1930 - )
Dats distorted? Get a boss ds-1 or big muff at least kid n' turn all the knobs clockwise to the max n' let er rip 😜
I'm saving up for one of each for when I put together a grunge tribute band. 🤘

'You are what you love. No? You are, completely and only, what you would die for without, as you say, the thinking twice.' - David Foster Wallace (1962 - 2008)

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them. - Albert Einstein
'A wise man has to always listen to the peers he surrounds around himself. That's why you surround yourself with other smart people. Captain Kirk keep Mr. Spock right beside him.' - The Rza
big fan of this. im trying to make something similar work with the DFAM and guitar (i dont have the mother). how are you getting those changes in dynamics on the synth?
Thanks heaps! I recorded the synth track first, then improvised the guitar over that - so there were some variations created manually. Also, the mother 32 has an LFO that can be patched to the DFAM to create some more slowly evolving dynamics, etc.
'There are confirmed stories of people who can break instruments and cause them to fail by walking in a room. I'm the opposite - I can walk into a room and something will work better than it is supposed to.' - Bob Moog (1934 - 2005)
‘Damn the rules, it's the feeling that counts.’ -John Coltrane

'I will keep playing as long as my body lets me, and as long as I'm wanted by my listeners. Because music is the only thing that keeps me going.' - Ravi Shankar (1920 - 2012)
'What I am more concerned about is whether our whole civilization will be around in the next 25 years.' - Sonny Rollins
'When you listen to my music, I want you to feel what I'm feeling. I want it to touch your soul.' - J Dilla (1974 - 2006)
'You will become way less concerned with what other people think of you when you realize how seldom they do.' - David Foster Wallace (1962 - 2008)
