it's gotta be out of fuel and powered down at the time, and you can't do it before startup if i remember right,

@@Imaplant7 yeah I'm kinda confused, because i want to blow the reactor up by overheating it but i never have enough fuel to do it

@@bretislavalt7084 i would recomend you use the fuel, once you refuel, youll have plenty, you would want to turn pumps off, or set em to 100% so they break if you want to make it harder, they can be fixed but that takes a maintence, also keep e cooling tank turned off, i havernt played in a while btw, also the dials, i would turn em to three so they eventually cause heat but honestly you could leave em on lowest setting idk

as far as currently, it does that automatically, unless part 2 released, which currently i belive it hasnt, also you cant refuel lasers when the reactor is online

if your computer can handle it, it is fun, sandbox espcially, i didnt reallly do campaign, mods are great
