Trona Pinnacles to Rubicon Snow: Overlanding Madness
Join us on an epic overlanding adventure as we drive to the stunning Trona Pinnacles, stopping for some mouthwatering BBQ along the way. After finding a remote camp spot, we were woken up by fierce winds that kept us from getting any sleep, making for a rough start to the day. With little rest, we hit the road again, heading toward the legendary Rubicon Trail. But the adventure took an unexpected turn when we got stuck in the snow-test your limits, embrace the chaos, and see how we handle the obstacles in this action-packed journey!
Our journey doesn’t stop there! After battling deep snow on the Rubicon Trail and pushing our vehicle to the limit, we decided to take a spontaneous detour through the breathtaking landscapes of Yosemite. Nice guys, very cool to see the behind the scenes!!
This is why Noone wants to watch these overland people anymore making unrealistic build an then not having any understanding of weight to power ratio an all it is complaining cut the video to 5 min there was no need for a 45 min video
Well done 🤘
Back to the dealer before it breaks🤔🤷🏻♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣
You know it! 😂🤘🏼 Nah just a quick side road that we found on our way to another destination. Was tempting to be there all day though!
U need to do some edit damn 44 minutes just 10 minutes and quick advice the first 10 seconds in the TH-cam is the most important and Start with insta and tik tok to promote this channel because TH-cam is so hard and keep going guys
Totally agree that 44min is a long time! This video’s goal is to answer as many questions as we could that we get a lot from our Instagram as that’s a larger presence for us currently and where most of our content is focused towards in the past few years. We’re making a shift on this platform which will have a combination of shorter educational/review videos and additional long format adventures.
The Maxis tires are awesome I run 37 1350 on my Bronco raptor but I’m running load range D, They seem to last a long time the sidewalls are extremely strong and they’re not that loud for a mud terrain it’s an awesome tire. 👍
I agree! We've been really impressed with them, the sidewalls are great for a rough terrain tire.
Nice build
Thanks, it's still a work in progress!
So you are saying its better to do a wrap than do ceramic coating? Also how do you see how of the back window?
Overall we’d recommend at least a PPF instead of ceramic coating. We’ve done them before and just not worth it for the price. We see behind us with an Acumen Legend Digita Mirror
Check out Lite Bright and their videos on their BRaptor and their new APG BRaptor build that is insane.
Already have! They have some great builds!
Is there a link to your build on the B Raptor can’t copy all but would love to pick and choose key items
Not yet, we’ll have a build breakdown on our website eventually. You can find more details on our Instagram (@radmedia.co)
Whats the matter cant handle 50watts? How exactly do you run anything else? Or do you fake your other stuff?!?!? Lol you people are so transparent.
You can’t even just go out and enjoy nature. You need to bring the internet with you?
@@JamesLeBlanc-j2i most the time we unplug it. However sometimes we need to work on the road per our jobs :)
Great video! Thanks guys! 👌👌
Such a bad ass video !! Keep up the videos more often, I look forward to them !
Appreciate that, more coming soon!
Y'all should double the ah and get another one of those same batteries 200 is like nothinggggg a starlink doesn't even pull more than 50 watts but the timer idea is good
You changed so much on the raptor, many of those things are what make the raptor, well... the raptor, wouldn't it have been smarter to buy the Wildtrak and save a BUNCH of money?
You’re not wrong there! However for us, the biggest thing again was substantially more power and having the Fox Live valve. For our media business we needed to get up and go right away, so that the route we decided to take. You definitely save more money doing a Wild Trak build, so just our 2 cents :)
Do you guys have a link for the tire storage box? Loved the video, I don’t have a Raptor (badlands bronco) but I definitely got some inspiration from this video
Yes! We’ll comment the link below. Glad you got some inspiration! 😊

@@RoamAdventureDiscoversorry I meant the cargo box not the platform!

You guys are easy to listen to, good stuff!
@@stephengoodin9584 oh thank you! 🥲🙏🏼
Wow .. This is very informative. Hoping to see more of your Vlogs with the Bronco Raptor. Am a new subscriber - Sub no. 395.
Thanks for tagging along! Got lots more coming soon!
Cool
👏 promo sm
I have a Braptor as well. What winch did you use? How heavy were the mods? Also, what are your ditch lights you’re running?
DV8 12k pound winch, we’re about 1,200lbs in added weight. Ditch lights are KC Hilites FE4s
Beautiful
That looks pretty awesome… the voices were the best you guys nailed it 😂
The interior looks awesome , what did you guys do? Can you share more please
Don’t push it to hard these things tend to break with minimum effort but they look cute
The best advice anyone ever gave me was 4 words: "Don't recommend this channel"
Lol
some of the dumbest shit i ever heard
You definitely drove in a circle.
Awesome!
This is so much like the Sports Car Club of America Road Rallies I did 45 years ago except we had to use stop watches and maps and you won by being closest to the exact time set (to add the pressure). Sure seems like fun and technology today would be cool! You make a super team (even if I and your GMa are biased)!!
Now that definitely sounds like fun! Oh thank you!
Looks like a good time!
Y'all are crazy, you don't have to chop anything. I did mine at the apartment complex downstairs in my parking spot.
Do you know what size spanner wrench will work to adjust the Peak Coilovers? Thanks!
Unfortunately that I don’t know since Peak Suspension sets each coilover per your request. I’d contact Peak Suspension for that if your trying to adjust your current kit
@@RoamAdventureDiscover I was mainly asking what size did they send you? I have the same coilovers as you (for a Colorado), but they didn't send me an adjustment wrench.
@@LobbVT gotcha, I had mine set for 3 inches of lift in the front since I had their diff drop as well
@@RoamAdventureDiscover Do you have an adjustment (spanner) wrench? If so, what size is it?
@@LobbVT I don’t have one. Since then I’ve switched over to King and have shock tuning shops adjust the valving and spring load for me
This made me cringe so hard...
Could have done a better walk around take the truck outside next time that was lazy you can sell your product better than that.
I just bought a Colorado z71 and love your channel. I want a lot more videos and longer of course.
RADZ71 does your truck have a 3.6L V6 gas naturally asperated? I looked up the exhaust link in your description but there site doesn't have anything for a 2021 GMC Canyon 3.6L V6? Ok I found it on their site but you just have to punch in 2020 gmc canyon base and it says those are for 15'-21' canyons with 3.6L so i'm good thanks
Would you recommend a muffler delete ONLY on the 3.6? I plan on straight pipping the muffler and keeping the resonator at the tailpipe
I put a Flowmaster exhaust on my 2016 Z71 Colorado. I put the rear up on ramps and I could remove the factory exhaust without cutting it. It can be done!
Yep! If I jacked up the rear to create more space from the axle it would’ve been fine. I was just in a rush and was on a big slant in the driveway. Plus was going to trash the exhaust anyways.
