Left the country 13 years ago, and have never had the motivation to visit the country since then. You literally took me thru my entire hood man. God bless. Wow!!!

Thanks for taking me down memory lane. I Iived in this area namely Simpson street, Olonode street and Herbert Macauley Street between 1966-1974. There has been a lot of development, but still recognised some of the old buildings. Then Bornu Way was Wakeman street and Muritala Mohammed Way was Clifford street . Casino cinema was the local cinema at the time, still remember when it was bombed during the civil war. Keep up the good work 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿.

Thank you for sharing this video. I am overwhelmed with a sense of nostalgia upon watching this video. These are areas i haven't seen in decades. There are roads in this footage that i've forgotten all about and thank you for bringing them back to my memory.( who will ever forget Olukole st, Adegoke st, Badaru st Ilesanmi st or Okanlawon Ajayi street. These were my shortcut route to Lawanson Market from Adelabu. Thank you. Oh how i reminisced about Surulere area of Nigeria. It's a shame though that Ogunlana drive that i grew up in (Bus Corner to Masha) end is No longer a residential area and Akerele st is no longer what i used to know. Thanks for sharing😂😂🎉

Grew up in these areas as a kid between 1966 -1982 before I traveled out in 1985; it’s a shame what has become of these beautiful areas. I lived in Queen Street and Akiwunmi street ; went to Methodist primary school . all these are my childhood areas . Thank you very much for the video; well appreciated
