Found this song online years ago and a quick search this morning shows that its still only available there. www.honda600coupe.com/random/Lord_I_was_born_a_stagehand.html They were given a copy and don't know anything of its source either. Posting to help spread this around some, hopefully find nmore info on the artist, and also so I can add it to my preshow playlist I listen too before shows.

    Would that cause a clunk when shifting/accelerating?

      For that, I'd first check the u-joints. The wear in the video wasn't the cause of my issue. I later figured out that the throttle valve cable had a ring of rust on it that was binding it up from fully releasing.

    Are the numbers you gave for the bearing the part # ???? Or the sizes???

    • @ravenbarsrepairs5594
      @ravenbarsrepairs5594 ปีที่แล้ว

      What numbers did I give? Sry, it's been years since I shot this video, and no time to rewatch the video to figure it out. Likely the bearing size number, which equates to the part number.

      Unlikely. Apple has stripped down and cleaned up the parts of Unix/BSD/Linux they adapted into Apple products. I doubt the "insults" portion made it in, if it existed in whichever version they started with.

    .... then you lose all credibility and hit the damn bearing back on; not by compressing.... BUT caveman style, while you have the VISE clamped to the ROTOR - "Brilliant" no protection at all. You even out yourself on a video. Did you realize the rotor is on a shaft? if the shaft was on a flat surface at the other end it could easily be forced down without grabbing the rotor

    Incredible! A true back-yard Grease Monkey. I haven't seen one of those since my uncle Albert passed. (He could fix anything with a Hammer-Hatchet and a screwdriver.) I once saw him driving screws in with that H-H! His reply to me... "The threads are for removing them!" You novices can utilize this video as a learning opportunity. PROS: I have to hand-it-to-him though - he did separate and wrap each parts group very well... Nicely done Sir! CONS: Did not remove old RTV and clean it up before starting reassembly. No assembly lube! 1:55, 2:08, 2:14, 2:28, 3:25 - Etc. On and on... Note: With proper assembly lube those pistons will stay in-place much better. And none of those pistons, shafts, shaft-pockets, gears or seals will gall-up on the first running. (Highly likely w/o pre-lube.) No thread-locker where required. - 4:43 & 6:55 The motor installation is easy if you install it the way the manufacturer teaches doing it. 6:28 Filthy and rusted Channel-lock pliers... Grabbing the gear and spline. Chews-up the spline. Just what a hydraulic unit needs. NOT! Again - No assembly lube. 8:20, 8:40, 9:07, 9:12, 9:30 No seal installation tools... Just beat it in with whatever is handy! 10:38 That rounded end of the adjustable wrench shouldn't dent/warp that oil seal...! R I G H T !!!! Dog comes in and drinks oil laying around. 12:23 Again with the pliers... 13:38, 13:43 Again - No assembly lube. 13:58, 14:19, 14:25, 14:34 Lack of fore-sight. 15:51 speaks for its self. Must leave hydrostatic unit open to elements in less than stellar environment while he goes to the local auto-parts store. (i. e. - Rusted pliers, filthy wrenches etc. If his tools are dirty & rusting, then...? ? ? ) Maybe the beagle can barf some gear-oil into that unit to prelube it while he is gone.

    • @ravenbarsrepairs5594

      Say what you want...... This transmissions still going after 6+yrs. Dog was smart enough not to drink oil. I'm gonna have to guess your either an engineer or a factory technician. In the real world, supposedly sensitive equipment gets opened and repaired in less than ideal conditions all the time. Your free to post your own video on how to repair a "non-servicable"(i.e. no service manual available) transmission yourself.

      @@steelernation9320 All my records show it that I paid $13.51 via PayPal to Interstate of San Jose CA. From what I recall, I searched online for the part I needed(either I pulled a number off the bearing or I looked it up in a parts diagram). Then I ordered it from whatever site I found that had the part. My theory on the cause of failure is that a couple weeks before it broke, I used the tractor to tow a junk Ford Ranger out back and I had to do a couple hard jerks to get it to move.

    Why are you cutting by pushing instead of pulling? When you cut in this direction when ripping, you tilt the guard to prevent this. But you can't when crosscutting, because the fence is in the way. That's why you normally crosscut by pulling, where the piece won't lift up like that.
