I really wish they would allow the K9 units to come to my detention facility more often. Usually, we just get one if there is something that is suspected. However, we have contractors for food, commissary, maintenance and some officers who bring contraband into the facility. It would be great to have a K9 available for daily random searches when these staff members enter the facility.
