I am sooooo curious what Garmin decides to do with the Fenix / Enduro / Epix line ups because they seem to be blurring lines hahaha. And the flashlight.. I still use it daily so I am well aware of what you are talking about with the battery drain lol, but its a worth compromise!

Thanks for the comment! I hope you're digging the 7x! To be honest, I haven't done too much with music and my watch during activities. I typically try to just stream music from my phone, and that has worked just fine for me. I prefer all the extra battery life I can get, but if you discover the answer, let me know how you like it!

@@pjohansson89 Nope! Sticking with my Fenix 7x until it breaks or the Enduro 2 or 3 comes in white! The amoled display is reeeeally nice, but not my cup of tea.

Thanks for the question! I really need to do an updated review lol. The watch hasn't shown any stains or discoloration, however a yellowing has started to appear on the band lock loops... Everything else is looking great!

No yellowing. The white has held up super well over the last 8 months! An updated review is coming! But I would 10/10 recommend this colorway!

@@getoutgetrad thanks sir, can I also ask many people saying the dlc coating is not that great ,and will get torn fast, and the silver bezel will show up, making the watch less attractive

Hey! Honestly, I think the bezel being a little big it might be more prone to scratch, tho I think the mineral blue shows more than the black or silver bezels... I have an update coming after taking the watch to the Mojave desert for 10 days haha, stay tuned for that!

Right on! I would say that I have seen great battery life out of the Vertix 2 as well, but the Enduro 2 seems to be wanting to play bullyball hahaha. We shall see!

Great question! I think it comes down to personal preference and what you need out of the watch while hiking. Are trail names displayed on your map? Then I would lean towards the Fenix. But both are extremely capable!

Thanks so much! To be honest, I never had much interest in the Epix... Primarily bc the Fenix 7x literally checked every box. I wanted more battery and better screen protection with the sapphire glass. But the Enduro 2...? {hmmmmmm}

@@robsilv148 i actually love those! 😅 The deciding factor for will be, if i see a good deal on the 7X SS, if not i will go Enduro2 :P

So, I only have experience from having the first Enduro, but I gotta say, the yellow / green is pretty rad! If you’re familiar with older Nike colorways, you’ll recall a “volt” color, that is a popping yellow/green. It’s honestly pretty good looking. That said, I haven’t seen the Enduro 2 in person, but if it’s like the first one it’s 🔥🔥🔥

If you're going to buy the 7X then I recommend you just go for the new Enduro 2. Basically the same watch but with better battery.

Hey, whats up! The 7x is working amazing for me! Easy to clean, color is still looking fresh and clean! It does have some scratches on the bezel, but after about 400 miles with it, a few races, adventures in the mountains, and daily wear, it still is looking really good! I will share an updated video soon, stay tuned!

@@getoutgetrad Definitely! I took the Vertix 2 and the Fenix 7 out on a trail run yesterday with a course loaded up. Ended up looking at the Fenix 7 the entire time when navigating. Coros maps just confused me more. However if I really needed to get my bearings I pull up Gaia on my phone. Also did you see the new features that came to the Forerunner 955? Fenix 7 will be getting those as well

@@getoutgetrad I prefer the Coros app but Garmin does have the better ecosystem as I was planning on getting an Inreach this summer. It's such a difficult decision haha

@@codyjackson7355 Exactly! I recently picked up an Inreach too, and its nice to have the single ecosystem. BUT, I don't know lol, will be running both again tmrw 🤦‍♂️. Would be nice if one day these watches helped me actually become a faster runner tho hahaha
