That motivation to create will come and go, ebb and flow, over the years you will be able to grab it while it's present. I'm a musician, artist, video maker, philosopher, you name it, and whenever I lose my motivation I used to beat myself up over it. But then I realized it will return, I just need to focus on what I'm doing at the moment. But never let go of that joy.

Keep at it brother, you'll build an audience. You have a good heart. It took me 13 years to build my channel up. Completely understand where you're coming from with the authenticity thing, if you're too authentic people don't want to watch sometimes. Even though that sounds counterintuitive. Put you attract people who are straight up instead of a bunch of people who just want entertainment. And that's always better. We need a community of thinkers out there

You mentioned that you didn't watch all the videos; just the ones you liked, but if you had, you would have picked up on a lot of inconsistencies in things being claimed and asserted that a man as smart as Mark should have picked up on. I actually applaud Tyler for not ignoring the obvious and pointing it out. He might be an empathetic guy but there is an obvious level of exploitation he employs to garner views. This relationship, much like his one with Rebecca, is disturbingly unhelpful and seemingly many as self-serving.

It absolutely makes me sick. Mark was so good to them. I noticed with every video, more and more family members were coming around with their hands out. I knew this was coming but I didn't expect BJ to take it to the extent that she did. What a disgusting human being

I think we all have to understand is not what WE see is the best for them is NOT what they see. They don't have that. They have a certain way of living and no matter what you give them, a house, a car, furniture etc. They will treat those objects they have treated everything else in their lives. Their house will not be neat and organized, things will still be strewn around because it's all they ever known and what they are used to. Don't give them a new house or any other coulda woulda shoulda based of what they may possible own as far as land or whatever or what YOU think is best for them. Give them what they need for the conditions and situation they are used do living with, it's what they can accept and what they need is not what you or them THINK they need. A new house is great but they are used to the cramped rugged conditions. Fix the walls and roof in their current trailer, maybe another room or porch, an new heating source like a new furnace, a new sink, better plumbing, a debit card to the grocery store etc. but don't take them out of their current environment. It appears to me Mark gave them the money, doing the right thing, but they needed someone to help them spend them money wisely, a trustee of some sort. They never had been given money before and of course, people will and it appears, took advantage. Help them thrive in their environment in which they are used to living. In time, when the time is right, they will slowly adjust to greater living conditions but they need to be ready for those steps. Let them be whom they are until they are ready. It's a process. Rome wasn't built in one day and no one can build their Rome in one day.

My question is, with the exception of Mark; why are others getting involved with or about the Whittaker's? What they need is a local conservator/executor to oversee their financial affairs and make the necessary decisions regarding their living conditions and quality of life. I don`t think it`s a good idea just sending them cash. There should be some sort of plan.

They could fix the current trailer and put another one on the property.

I understand wanting to help. Mark did a video on Larry died. In that video it shows that the money was going to other family for drugs. It has not improved their lives and living conditions. I think Mark had good intentions but did it wrong.

I've watched his channel for a while now, he's only trying to help others. Also have watched his videos with the Whittakers. He's been trying to help them, I don't blame him for giving up. You can only do what you can do. People don't need to hate on Mark!

Love this video, especially as a fellow Marylander! Gastrointestinal illnesses such as norovirus which spreads easily in food, water, and surfaces are the thing I worry about with cruise ships. See the outbreaks on the CDC site here: www.cdc.gov/nceh/vsp/surv/gilist.htm Cruises seem like more risk than reward. You pointed out so well how the ocean itself doesn't really come into play. So why go through all the trouble and risks of a cruise to do things I can do on land? Good points all around!
