My wife and I have been to St. John about 12 - 13 times (and we are going in the first week of October) and I can tell you this I've never ever seen a nurse shark anywhere in those waters...that is a very rare occurrence...which I would of loved to see. I swam with them in the Bahamas, they are not interested in us at all...now the reef sharks are a different story. Be well.
