About Lolegaon:
This serene getaway is a haven for nature enthusiasts and bird lovers. The peaceful environment here, free from the rush of heavy tourism, allows wildlife and birds to thrive undisturbed. The locals are warm and welcoming, adding to the tranquility of this beautiful place. The forest floor is full of leeches so make sure to wear strong hiking boots, good clothing and carry an insect repellent at all times.

During my visit, I ventured into the forest trails and explored the village in search of its rich avian diversity & in hopes of spotting some animals like the Himalayan Black Bear. One highlight of my trip was spotting the extremely rare and elusive Purple Cochoa!
Each moment spent here felt like being embraced by nature. From the crisp & cold mountain air to the melodic bird songs at dawn, Lolegaon has left me with unforgettable memories.
