Hello. The dimensions of the cover are not customizable at the moment. This will be added in future updates. Currently, you can model structures with special dimensions as "Appurtenances". The Parts 23 & 24 of this tutorial series explain working with appurtenances in more details.

Hello, To add infraWizard to AutoCAD you need only to download the latest setup file at infrawizard.com/store and run it to install infraWizard. Once the setup is completed, infraWizard ribbon will appear in AutoCAD when you open it.

Hello, To import sizes from existing definition files, use the appurtenance library to load the definition of the size by browsing to the DWG file that contains its definition. To create a definition for a new size, the easiest way is to copy one of the files provided with infraWizard installation and modify its contents. More information about the contents of an appurtenance definition are provided in the Help of infraWizard. Also, a video tutorial will be published soon explaining this process.

No, it doesn't export .ifc file. The export will produce .nwc file only containing the solids and text files containing the data. After importing these to Navisworks and creating .nwd file, you may use some third party tools to export .ifc because this option is not built-in in Navisworks. The topo surface should be imported to the Civil 3D file that contains your infraWizard project, so that you can use it with infraWizard. If there is an exchangeable format that can be exported from Revit and imported to Civil 3D; e.g. LandXML, you can do this. There is no direct method to import an infraWizard network to SWMM. You can however export network data from infraWizard in the format of text files and use these data to manually update the SWMM model.

Hello, If you have infraWizard v23.0 you can find the relabel option in the Edit Group table by going to the Nodes tab and right-clicking the header cell of the Name column.

After you start a new project you can reference the CAD layout as an External Reference using the command XREF or insert it as a block into the drawing using the command INSERT. In case you need further assistance, please send your query to support@infrawizard.com

Modeling of valves and similar appurtenances will be added in coming updates planned in 2023. Chambers can be modeled right now as simple structures without much details. In coming updates also we’ll add capabilities to show more details in manholes and chambers like neck and cover.

Thanks Bashar. The invert levels of pipes are shown in the profiles produced in this video. The default settings of profile style includes both ground levels and invert levels. There will be another individual video about profile styles in this tutorial series.

Hello Mohammed. InfraWizard doesn’t carry out the hydraulic design of networks. It is used for design tasks that follow hydraulic design. Using infraWizard, you can import the output of hydraulic design in the format of shapefiles, text files, SWMM, or EPANET. Then you can coordinate networks at crossing points, make edits to pipe sizes and levels, and produce longitudinal profiles and 3D BIM model for your networks in a very efficient way.
