After our stay on Palmyra, we sailed east to Fanning Island. Roughly 250 nautical miles, and directly upwind, it was not an easy sail. But it was worth it! Surfing, fishing, and wonderful people. More to come! Aloha, Sam & Joy

Friends and family, follow us as we sail through the South Pacific. First stop, Palmyra. Palmyra is 1000 miles south of Honolulu and a U.S. atoll. Previously it was a WWII base and now is owned by both Fish & Wildlife and The Nature Conservancy. We hope you enjoy! Aloha, Sam & Joy
Alby Mangels Australian entrepreneur collected heaps of abandoned US WW2 ordinance on Palmyra. Nice Yellowfin Tuna, only thing better is Bluefin

The Grahams should have moved here instead of staying at Palmyra.
