How does the Pro performance mode compare to the standard ps5 performance mode? Is it a better image overall? I'm away for work so I haven't had the time to check it out lol

The ghosting effect is unfortunately the result of poor frame gen implementation again the developers could have done a better job. There actually is an easy fix for frame gen and even the black levels in this game on a swapchain level. You can search for "Black Floor Fix and HDR DLSS Frame Generation Fix" and you will find the fix on nexusmods. It's a fix by RenoDX who does a lot of HDR fixes for other games as well. Let me tell you the game looks absolutely insane with the corrected black levels and Frame Gen fix. It's just another great advantage of PC compared to consoles that you can fix a lot of these types of issues yourself. Still this of course shouldn't even be necessary if developers had good quality control and released their products in a polished state.

The sad thing about this list is that you have to look on the internet to see if it's really enhanced/patched or not.Very poor job by Sony. 👎🏼I think the Ps5 Pro is a bit neglected by Sony.

I went on YT to check the review because i have bough the game yesterday to check it out. And looking at this. The difference between my RTX 4080 ultra setting and this is night and day. This looks flat af. I can clearly see that these environment were designt to be light by RTX DI/GI. I'm glad that framerates are solid for console players though and i'm worried about future games because the base cost of RTX DI is like 20 FPS (on low) and I dont see any AMD hardware compteting with Nvidia in the RT space.

The last of us 2 on the ps5 pro is mind blowing so glad I brought the pro man

I switched to pc the beginning of this year also zero 0 regrets. Something about tweaking my settings on games thats oddly satisfying. Cant figure out what that is. Its like an obsession lol 😆.

I was skeptical of the PS5 Pro until I put on RE4 Remake on my LG G3 OLED. It looked great on the base PS5 but holy shit it looks incredible on the pro. It's even better knowing this is just the beginning and they're gonna release future patches and improvements.

That's a good comparison of the graphics settings. That's surprising but it seems that the resolution mode with ray tracing off is the best option.

as soon as you arrive on kondor it becomes horrible there is a strong flickering on the grass it flashes everywhere very disappointed with the pssr

On PC this game look much better on consoles is potato mode even on PRO.....

Hey bud, good video! Have you tried Days Gone yet on the Pro? It's my favorite game on any console because of the great story and perfect balance of difficulty, stealth and fighting. I haven't played it in a couple of years, so I thought I would see what it looks like now on the Pro. And WOW!!!, Days Gone looks like it was made for the Pro. Bend Studios, the developer for the game were way ahead of their time when they developed it. Days Gone can stand toe to toe with the Last of Us and Horizon Forbidden West. You should try it!

They need to utilize PSSR, they can do better. I believe there is a new patch incoming.
