I enjoyed 'practice makes perfect' less then 'when in rome' and I think it was because in 'when in rome' we got to see the characters falling in love, but in 'practice makes perfect' they were already in love

If you want to dip your toes into historical fiction involving Anne Boleyn then I highly recommend The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory! It's one of my faves 😍

The Familiar was my first Bardugo book as well. I liked it but it was slow at parts.

2k pages in two weeks is crazy! But keep going, you inspired me to start reading again :)

Great tbr Jessi. I just finished A Novel Love Story and really enjoyed it. It didn't have as much of an emotional impact as The Seven Year Slip but it was still good. I'm looking forward to see what you think about The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo. I've had it on my shelves for ages and just skip over it every month lol. Have a great reading month 📚😄
