I finally had the chance to sit down and watch these videos and I have to say. You have taught me a lot more than just making these signs. For example, the little trick where you can select the faces and it tells you the distance down in the right corner...that is a time saver for me, along with other tricks like that throughout your videos. I would certainly enjoy and benefit from a video on parametric design. You have a nice way of explaining things where other videos dont connect well with me. Awesome work! Thank You!
❤
You could also extrude to components in Fusion and export as a step. No need to split parts in Bambu slicer.
I mean, that’s pretty much literally what I did in the second method…
Hello, that is extremely racist that you would write Indian fever in reference to the smallpox that were given to the native peoples of America in order to eradicate them to steal their land!!! Reporting you and your channel
lol, reading isn’t your strong suit huh? It’s the Indiana Fever.
Dude- these are awesome. I’m not artsy but I want to try anyway.
Thanks Chris! Give it a shot! It gets much easier the more you do it!
@@thehangardesigns I’ll give it a go. I looked thru a bunch of your designs for inspiration. I’ll start with my college alma mater and next there is a high school in the small town I’m stationed in that’s really the only football in town so there may be some interest there.
Very cool. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching, Miah!
nice! download is just to canadian people and us all around world is impossible download becouse addres just have US, CANADA states and country
Hey, so sorry about that! It should be fixed now!
This is awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this! You make this look so easy! And the your tutorials are really simple to follow. Okay, I had to update my comment. I'm printing this now and am looking forward to see how it worked out. Also, I would definitely be interested in a video about Vector AI. I did buy the app and would be grateful for any hints, tips or tricks you'd be willing to share!
Glad it was helpful!
Man, you are pumping out these videos. Great work!
Thanks Miah! Going to shoot for an actual video build soon.
@@thehangardesigns yessss!!!
you can also use the fiber optic lighting tubes (eyes?) to light different parts of your design from farther distances just shine an RGB from one side and it will side glow and show out the end
totally! I've a lot of recommendations for that but just never got around to it- hopefully, we'll start seeing some new designs coming out soon!
This is awesome! We follow you on MakerWorld and pretty sure we have downloaded every sign you have posted! This is fast becoming my favorite new channel!
Awesome thank you! May I ask, what is your favorite sign that you've downloaded so far?
@@thehangardesigns Boston Bruins!!! 💛🖤
Love it! Keep it up!
Thank you so much for taking the time to create these video's! I have learned a so much and love the signs you make. Please keep the tutorials coming they are absolute gold!
Thank you! Please let me know if I haven't covered something or if there's an area that I should expand on!
@@thehangardesigns I'm using this to create an Indian Fever Logo sign and I'm finding it a little tricky on the thinner parts. Maybe something that covers the less typical type fits?
Sounds good- once I finish the final tutorial video, I'll do another practice video that will have a more complex logo. I won't spend as much time on every step but I will mention the issues that you may come across as well as the thought process throughout the design. Thanks for the feedback.
I uploaded a new video showing the design of the Indiana Fever logo! Hopefully, this helps!
I'm new at this, but you make it very simplistic. Would you please explain the Boolean Cut in more detail? Thanks!
Sure! A boolean cut is the term for a calculation a CAD program uses to combine or cut two objects using each other's geometry. In Fusion, all boolean operations are located in the Combine command (which is often confusing to new users, because the combine command can join, cut, or intersect). For a boolean cut, we're using one part as a cutting tool to cut out an exact copy of the overlapping portions from the other body.
Very nice tutorial!
Thanks Miah! Still trying to figure out the right balance for length of video/amount of info, but I’m sure it’ll get more natural
Very cool man. Where there be a 3rd showing how you do the logos?
Yes! Should be out in a couple days.
@@thehangardesigns heck yeah dude, you rock!
These are awesome. I have been a lifelong Clemson Tigers Fan. And was excited to se that one in there. will for sure watch and learn this is great.
Oof, lifelong Gamecocks fan here- but I'll let you stay ;D. Seriously, enjoy and let me know if you have any questions.
@@thehangardesigns LOL. I was actually raised in Columbia for 20+ years. thankyou for this and yes if ever have questions will for sure reach out
Great video man
Thank you!
Love the ones you built for me! Thanks for sharing this.
Awesome man! Happy you like them!
Awesome vid will def play around with it!
For sure, let me know if you ever have any questions!
This is so awesome bro thank you so much for your help I support you .
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing! Cool stuff!
I will admit I am not the smartest knife in the drawer, lol, however, I understood the drawing and the directions. It made me want to play around with Fusion360 myself! The video was great and the audio was personable. Looking forward to part 2!
Great, I'm glad it was clear enough!
Great first video! Your channel is going to do well. I need me some Fusion360!
Thanks Miah! I think you could definitely incorporate some cad and 3D printing into your build!
@@thehangardesigns a nice 3d printer is on my long wish list. I’ve got a guy who prints stuff for me at a very reasonable price.
