What is the cause of his death, pete haycock?
we dont know. They do not do autopsies in Germany, like they do here in the States... But we lost a good human being, besides the massive talent and creativity of Pete Haycock, for sure. He is extremely missed by all.
He was awesome the master of slide guitar
yes he most certainly was one of the best..!! Thanks for visiting. I have more of his videos on my channel. This was the True Blues release tour. I enjoyed every moment of it.
Is that Andy Pyle on the Deep section ?
No sorry it is not..
On watching again this Bass man moves a bit more ...thanks for your reply
@@robboriff th-cam.com/video/ZD0lnXkMdQY/w-d-xo.html The bass player has a great soulful voice too..
There's one deaf tasteless moron in every crowd!!!
I've been lucky enough to sit in the audience and I keep this great concert in my best memory.
Thank you... I was there for this concert and all the other ones for his True Blues... He is greatly missed, for sure..
Been playing guitar for 35 years and I heard CBB when I was HS cause my brother had LIVE FM album... I dug it but was never into it too much back then... but tapping into discovering the legacy of Pete Haycock now after all these years.
Listening again and again I must say: Paul is such a wonderful musician! And Glen! Man! Real creative Blues. I wish the sound of the clip was better...
I was the one filming, I am not a professional. sorry about the sound. It was a pleasure to go on tour with Pete Haycock's True Blues.

Superb!
Nice Bandmaster, Pete. Last time I saw you, it was a Valeno and a Marshall stack. Of course, that was too many years ago while you, Derek, Colin, and Cuff were touring in Uncle Sugar Able.
COUNTRY HAT, yyyeah
Hey!!!! PH continues to be brilliant.
looks like 4 piece,,,,,good though !
You r right ! 4 piece band.
@mellle28081979 Mathias is a wonderful drummer and a wonderful person as well.. Thank you for your comment, Mathias ist ein wunderbarer Schlagzeuger und ein wunderbarer Mensch und .. Vielen Dank für Ihren Kommentar,
@Bronzecaster67 This Glen Turner played in the Old Joe Cocker Band, and he also played with Roger Daltry..
@TheBigduckhead No Glen is not related in any way to Martin Turner.
Paul is a wonderful man.. You are right to be proud of him. Scroll down the list of my videos.. you will find one titled Uncle Paul ..... all those guys are a riot.,
These guys certainly know how great blues should sound like! Fantastic!!
These musicians certainly know how great blues should sound. Great! I love it!
Good, traditional blues performed by professionals. Cool and beautiful at the same time.
Excellent, give him my best,i actually found a valeno copy guitar, made by a chap in new york,we were visiting my son who lives in chicago, above the chicago music exchange a gr8 shop, with vintage and unusual guitars and amps, and saw it hanging on the wall there, they got it down and let me play it,being a fan of peter,i was thrilled to have a go,although, this one had really heavy gauge strings, with a thick wound third,so it wasnt too easy to play !!! anyway,as i say, give peter my regards.
I am glad you enjoyed it. I will forward your comment to Pete.!
This is gr8,i had the pleasure of supporting peter, back in the mid 80,s,when he played the cliffs pavillion,i was in a band called The business, what a fantastic player, and a lovely guy,i had a chat with him backstage, and he advised i listen to some sax players, and use some of their phrasing techniques to incorporate into my playing !!!
Pete inspires me to play the "True Blues". He gave me so much, including my ambitions to slide. Without him i will not be the guitar player i still try to be. Much Love Clemens
You're right; the sound is a bit rough in this video clip, but there's a fantastic version of this same song that can be heard on the band's CD: Pete Haycock's True Blues LIVE, featuring Glen Turner. You can go to RMI Sound website to get it -- it's a fantastic recording!
rough is sweet
Thank You Jimmy for such a wonderful song! Pete Loves playing it and Paul loves singing it.!! I have forwarded your comment to Pete. Thanks Again!
not at this time., sorry.
On the subject of bootlegs, are there any plans as of yet to release 'Flying the Flag' and 'Lucky for Some' on CD, or in the very least make them availabe to purchase from download?
Glen Turner is not Martin Turner's brother. Pete is playing a Gordon
Absolutely wonderful. Was that Martin Turner from Wishbone Ash's brother, Glen that pete introduced at the end? It looked like a Westbury from Climax's flying the flag days that Pete was playing, but if so, it looked like it had a different neck. Thanks for posting this, and I look foreward very much to any future releases. I really got into Climax around the time of flying the flag, but my vinyls are all worn out now and no sight of a CD issue either. Typical of record companies.
Glad you injoyed it. There are more great vids to come. If you like Country Hat, then stay tuned for "Livin It, ReMastered" This will be released in the next few months, and will inclued Counrty Hat!
Great clip of a great song, by a great band. Pete Haycock can really make his guitar "sing" the lyrics along with Glen and Paul's vocals... Their LIVE CD has a wonderful version of this song on it!
Excellent shoe repair tips from Paul Harriman, who is not only an excellent bassist, but can also add "cobbler" to his resume! This clip reminded me of a lyric from "Statesboro Blues" (which Pete Haycock's True Blues performs at their gigs): "...woke up this morning, had them Statesboro Blues...well, I didn't have no money, so I had to buy a new pair of shoes"... (or at least tape 'em up!) -- hey, "whatever works" is my motto, and necessity is the mother of invention! Good stuff. Cheers, guys!
I love Bonnie Raitt, but these guys just "own" this song now... Paul Harriman does a great job, with Glen Turner harmonies, and Pete Haycock's slide guitar rings through brilliantly -- he's still the best player on this planet or any other! That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!! Great stuff...
If only The Doors had ever sounded this good! Pete Haycock's True Blues makes this song their own by incorporating some wicked slide guitar by Pete and some great back 'n' forth jamming with Glen Turner and a rockin' rhythm section... Great version of this song can also be found on PHTB's new Live CD!
This is a cool version of the J.J. Cale (and Lynyrd Skynyrd) favorite, performed with a bayou Louisiana twist by Pete Haycock's True Blues. Love Pete's slide guitar on this tune, which really breathes new life into this song and takes it in a new direction! Yeah!!!
Nice slooooooow blues shuffle, performed with feeling by this great band... Talk about two guitarists that were born to play together! Glen Turner and Pete Haycock must've been separated at birth 'cause they so seemlessly riff back and forth -- amazing... Love the version of this song on their new Live CD too!
Nobody -- I repeat -- NOBODY plays a tastier slide guitar than Pete Haycock. "Country Hat" used to knock me out when he played it Live with Climax Blues Band, back in the day, but he just keeps getting better and better.... Right On, Pete -- you're still THE MAN!!!!
This song, when performed by Pete Haycock's True Blues, takes on a new life of its own... Cool shuffle...lots of great improv...a true audience pleaser... The boyz know how to bring it! There's a great version of this on their new Live CD too -- check it out at RMI Sound (dot com).
Love this song on their Live CD and here too. Pete Haycock can literally make his guitar sing the lyrics, "When it's Love Time"... Cool!
you are right.. It gets even better!!
