Nice match 👍, can you upload Blake vs Andreev Australian Open 2009 and Tsonga vs Blake Australian Open 2009? Would be cool
Its a shame these old matches have no scoreboard. You never know who is winning.
Yes, Djoko was only 17, but Safin is so underrated as a baseliner. Dominated from start to finish.
This was probably the best match between these two! I'd include 2010 Miami and 2010 Canada as well. Tomas could gv Roger problems when he was on top of his game. He beat Roger in a good 3-set'r at the 2004 Olympics in Athens in their very first match-up. From this '09 match in Melbourne until their 2014 match in Dubai, they played some great matches, playing 10 times and splitting them going 5-5.
Rafa didn't hate ALL blue clay courts
damn man and that was gaskets best tennis ive ever seen too man.. just aint fair haha
Thank you. That was a beautiful match.
You're welcome 🤗
@@themsharapova10 do you have him vs Baghdatis from this same tournament?
Holy shit. I was looking for this match since ages
You're welcome 🤗
There is something special in watching two single handed backhand players playing against each other🙂
is that FATS music at the very end!?? woow what a find that is!
Excellent tennis! 🎾💥👏🏾
Could you upload Blake vs Andreev Australian Open 2009?
They're both great. Super strong Gonzalez💪
that guy was once my tennis trainer, hes friends with my father and stuff hated his guts, hes the reason i never want to touch a tennis racket ever again. once had my dads phone when i was younger and watched youtube, köllerer suddenly calls and disturbs my youtube i obviously declined and wrote him something like "my dads not here right now", he replied "can you please hand the phone to your dad?" simply replied with "no" and continued watching youtube on my dads phone
the difference in training. Haas at times hits weak shots. you cannot " rally " in modern tennis. every shot needs to be forcing the other player or at least minimizing his attack surface. Haas's game is good and his serve is top-quality. the difference is training and intensity. he is maybe 10% below federer. with training for a year he could be 6% below Federer. that would have made him a champion of the second-tier. I just watched him though hit a pitiful attempt at a drop shot against Nadal on hard court ? that shows you his amateur-ness in relation to the champions ... Nadal, Djokovic and Federer.
make it 60fps, its 2024 already
if Verdasco had the work ethic of Nadal,he could have made serious damage to all three of those guys
it's not even that, if he had a brain beyond a toddler he would've won a couple of grand slams
And people were really saying that Federer is the weak era champion...
The most boring Federer match of all time
Great match from Federer!
Great match from Del Potro!
Wow Federer narrowly avoided a knee injury here. Imagine Roger having an injury earlier in his career, could have been a different 2010's for him.
then he would have switched racquets earlier and won more.
Great match from Federer!
I was searching for this match for years
Thank you. I loved it when in an interview with Karlovic about Karlovic, a (Western?) journalist had the audacity to ask him about Federer. The question was, describe Federer with 1 word. Ivo's reply was: Swiss! :D
I always liked Sam good player and seems like a nice dude. Roddick was always my favorite. Always moving around and speeding up the point.
Great match from Del Potro!
Great match from Nadal!
20:00
No net game lol
Great match from Roddick!
This was Verdasco's chance!!! THIS TOURNAMENT!!!
Great match from Verdasco!
Great match from Nadal!
As a gasquet fan this is a torture to watch…so light hearted with his chances
I have all the respect for Novak but ain't no way in hell you gonna tell me his talent's and tennis abilities are greater than Rogers. I'm not talking about who is the GOAT statistically here. In terms of tennis talent, ability, and inventory there is no greater plethora of forehands, shot combos', approach shots, ball striking. Roger would just steam roll over people in his prime at will. Novak a primarily defensive baseliner simply doesn't beat people in THAT way.
So interesting re-watching these matches after listening to Andy's recent comments on how terrorized he was every time Rafa hit a forehand. "He'd swing that thing into my backhand - which is already a compromised shot for me - then the thing bounces on the service line and is over my head at the baseline. If I hear one more of those old commentators say '...oh just take it on the rise' I'm going to lose it!"
here for the same reason... man some of those approaches from Roddick are hard to watch... an absolute sitting duck
Temps passe très vite
Nadal is still mad for getting his face obliterated with Roddick’s serve
Never was a fan of Roddick.
It’s too bad his forehand lost its luster toward the end of his career. He had a cannon forehand back then
I don't think Roddick's movement is bad at all, but compared to the insane level of movement and speed today, he looks a little clunky.
Prime Verdasco.
