Bibi Ferreira is considered the Grand Dame of Brazilian stage. During her 72-year uninterrupted career she's been singing, acting, directing, and producing. She has unequivocally been the driving force behind Brazilian theater's many milestones throughout the 20th century.

Her most recent achievement established her as the first Brazilian artist to broadcast a live performance to more than 38 movie theater screens across Brazil.

For 30 years, Bibi has been singing Edith Piaf's repertoire and reliving the story the legendary French singer's life. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Piaf's passing.
In 1985, in recognition for her dissemination of French culture in Brazil, the French government honored Bibi with the Commendation of the Arts and Letters of the French Republic. The award was given to Bibi by then-First Lady Danielle Mitterand and the then-Minister of Culture Jack Lang. In 2009, Bibi received the award again, this time with the title of Commander, the highest commendation that the French Government can bestow upon a person connected to French culture.

Tive a ventura de assisti-la no Teatro Bradesco. Fã dela desde o Brasil 60, 61, 62 da TV Excelsior . Grande artista nacional, saudades.
Quando ela teve aqui em Fortaleza fui o show dela voz linda fiquei triste com a morte dela.

Uma vez, ela chegou no bar do hotel, eu puxei a cadeira pra ela se sentar; ela colocou a mão no bolso, e tirou 50 reais... na época, era muito dinheiro! Que Deus a tenha!❤
