Ayy you got P332CHR!
Awesome.
Great catch, just need blue in the light bar to complete the blue light setup.
Nice bro
Thank you!
4:40 why arent they moving
Awesome! Is this the version with the Hi-Lo?
Thanks for watching! This one has HiLo but it's a newer sounding one same model as what P231 is using. The new vehicles that TFS has been receiving with the PA300's I noticed there using another type of variant that still has the newer sounding wail, and yelp but it has the modern sounding HiLo tone back which is what the current 5 Pumpers with shop numbers 25111 to 25115 have including the newer Spartan Aerials, Tower 114, and the 5 E One Aerials.
Is this a new variation of PA300?? Haven’t they had these sirens for decades
Thanks for watching! Yes this is one of the newer model variants of the PA300 siren because of how it sounds compared to the past models that are still being used to this day.
Intersection?
Midland and Lawrence
Awesome
Thanks!
Glad to see a truck local to me.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Love the hi-lo! Very cool!
Thank for watching! Same here that was some nice siren usage.
Sweet.
Thanks!
Awesome catch. They had a whelen before right?
Thanks for watching! no this Aerial was one of 6 that were equipped with a federal signal PA300 siren. The only recent Aerial that TFS has received with a whelen siren is Aerial 221 which is a 2018 model (former demo unit) that replaced the old A222.
The difference between the PA300's that these aerials had were because it was a newer model type so the way they sounded was quite unique compared to the siren box they changed to now sounds a lot different with how you hear the Wail, Yelp, and HiLo than what they originally had.
Haha sweet horn and siren action!
Thanks man glad you enjoyed the video!
Nice horn usage. Do you have anywhere i can contact you?
Thanks for watching! I do have an instagram account that I made awhile back ago that ill start to use more the username is the same as my channel name but with no spaces.
way too many people just going through the intersection after hearing that thing coming
That horn!! Chefs kiss
Glad someone else caught the executor
Thank you! Yeah it was nice to be able to get the Ladder on a run the siren sounds awesome too!
Amazing!!
Thank you glad you enjoyed the video!
Awesome catch! Laying the air horn
Thank you! The horn usage was awesome to hear!
Great video!
Thanks man glad you enjoyed the video!
Nice catches!
Thanks for watching!
why is it always tuxedo court😭😭😭😭
Literally the same configuration as Memphis’s rigs. Nice one!
I guess I don't understand what the big deal is. We've been running red/blue on fire apparatus and ambulances for years in Texas and Oklahoma. Has there been some law that dictated what color lights they can run in Canada? I'm a retired firefighter of 27 years. My departments always had red/blue. I know some departments don't run red/blue for various reasons. Usually it has to do with "tradition".
I believe it was a law that was then maintained for a while by tradition. When I was young, I recall blue lights were reserved, by law, in Ontario for snow clearing equipment because... Canada. 🙂 More recently they allowed them for police vehicles and I think some recent research has shown blue light has visibility advantages so they are allowing them for all emergency vehicles. I think until there was some science behind it, fire departments in Ontario may have thought 'blue lights are for police and we're fire'.
@@bfd720 only 3 provinces are allowing blue lights. Ontario, Saskatchewan & Alberta has trial. I am not sure for other province are probably studying to go for the blue light.
I always thought blue lights are a bit weird on fire trucks, but this looks slick and ultimately visibility is what matters. Probably in the minority, but I love that TFS still uses the PA300 siren
I bet ya felt that excitement as decon rolled by with sirens.
Oh yeah I did for sure it was definitely awesome to see the Decon in action. As soon as I heard the call get upgraded and heard the Decon was added I just had to take the chance to film the response. That's also one of my favourite sounding PA300 sirens.
Why the blue lights now?
Alot of Canada fire departments are going to blue and red lights. I'm assuming it's to be more visible and for safety. Queensland Australia went to red and blue lights for ambulances and fire trucks due to the heightened awareness with the blue lights added.
Nice turn-out video.
Sick catch!
Thank you!
Need a real Q 100%!!
What’s the numbering system for the various units in Toronto? I see this one is Aerial 433. What does that number mean?
As I understand it, the first number in the station denotes the geographic command that the station is located in. 4, is the number for West Command. Station 433 houses Pumper 433 and Aerial 433.
First digit represents the district (north 1, east 2, south 3, west 4), second designates the division, third is the station and then the letter in front designates vehicle type. So A433 is an aerial assigned to the west district, third division, third station.
@ thanks! So different from what I’m used to.
Rare catch! 3297 (Ex-PSRT01 Supervisor) is the only 2016-17 FPIU used by District Special Constables (DSC). I believe 41 (4197) & 43 (4397) still have their older 2014s running.
Last DSC one? I thought there was still a few more.
What street is that station on?
It's on Royal York Rd just north of The Queensway
Someone was having a lotta fun.
Thanks for watching! Yeah that was some nice siren usage.
Still needs a Q but everything else is great. Nice to see Toronto embrace the blue and red. Its starting to become increasingly more popular again here in the States too.
Thanks for watching! it's definitely nice to see TFS starting to get blue lights on their new apparatus.
I think Q is a definitely must to compete this truck
Flip yeah 😎 makes the truck look that much better. Amazing what a simple colour chance can do.
Thanks for watching! The blue lights look amazing at night.
@emergencyfilmproductions5102 your welcome, indeed it does.
finally!!
What an absolute genius of a driver
Definitely not the smartest move for that white SUV to make that's for sure.
Great catch!!
Thanks man glad you enjoyed the video!
Awesome!
Thanks for watching!
0:27 Notice the white SUV turns left right in front of the firetruck.
Yup I saw the white SUV turning and I was thinking just why start turning when you see a fire truck coming down with lights and sirens🤦♂I just don't get these drivers sometimes.
Nice! Nice to see the blue lights.
Thank you! Same here it's nice to see the blue lights on the new apparatus especially at night.
@@emergencyfilmproductions5102 You’re welcome! Agreed, it looks like a winter wonderland. Florida has approved a bill for all FIRE/EMS services to have blue lights on their apparatuses, but I’m not sure if it’s the bank only or both the front and back. Can’t wait to see it in my county and a lot of other places in FL have transitioned to blue lights which looks great!
Nice! About time for blue lights for TFS.
Thanks for watching! it's definitely been a long time coming for TFS to finally get blue lights now on their trucks.
Cool catches! Great and sharp looking rigs.
Epic! Nice looking rigs.
Thank you!
Sick! Sharp looking rig. Toronto has been getting some nice looking rigs lately.
Thanks for watching! Yeah TFS has been getting a ton of new apparatus lately. The next batch of Pumpers and Aerials will have blue lights on them.
Absolutely loving these multi-truck calls you're catching. Love the action! Great catch
Thank you glad you enjoyed the video! Same here I enjoy filming fire apparatus in action whenever I hear the tones go off. I got lucky that day when I was in the Scarborough area at that time.
The air unit clip is awesome!
Thanks for watching! Definitely indeed.
Those lightbars are so massive 😭
