Nearly 20 years ago, I met Kim Coles at my job where BET was doing a photoshoot in the building. She was just as lovable and bubbly as Synclaire on Living Single. When I asked if I can take a selfie with her, she happily obliged. But the pic came out dingy. She said, "Oh let's go over here. The lighting is much better." I still have that pic to this day which I had blown up. Despite my satisfaction after Kim and I retook the pic, I didn’t like the quality, and therefore tossed it in my closet, still rolled up and stored inside the cylinder that Rite-Aid provided. That’s 2004 phones for ya. 🤷

No he was still a beloved massive success/ personality icon and his rep was more neutral in American culture at that point. He guest appeared in both black and white shows and movies.
