Raffles Institution Military Band

The Raffles Institution Military Band was officially founded in 1964, and is one of the oldest bands in Singapore.
Though RIMB was once a marching band, the band has become a concert band since 1992, whilst keeping the name to remember and appreciate our past and heritage. Without needing to dedicate time to marching, we have been given more time to immerse ourselves in making music together, under the baton of our resident conductor Mr Lim Yean Hwee. Under his tutelage, the band has been able to achieve greater heights in recent years.
