Spending tons of money on supplies for my magick doesn't work for me. Thanks for the great ideas on saving money and making wonderful magick. A few things I have done over the years: If you are unable to buy loads of colored candles, buy white tea lights and a box of crayons. Melt a bit of crayon on top of the tea light. You can do this with any candle. My BOS is a huge binder I found at the thrift store. All my written stuff is in those composition notebooks I buy on sale at the start of the school year. I just took different papers, wallpaper, stickers, etc, and decorated them then stuck them in the binder. Walk around your neighborhood and see what you can find. You will discover lots of things that have the same properties as the item used in "that spell." You don't have to buy anything! Go online and find a list of substitutions.

I think that was a good balance of books for general knowledge without focusing too much on one tradition or another. I would too recommend that beginners get specific books on tarot cards but not to limited themselves to just tarot. If oracles cards call to you, find ones that are easy to work with like the Herbiary by Maia Toll. Again, nice balance of beginner or even informational books.

Eeeek my OCD lol you’re setting quartz on top of minerals like lepidolite which is waaayyy softer like a 2.5-3 where quartz is a 7 - softer crystals will be damaged by harder ones like quartz just a heads up 🫣 could be why many are broken

I’m a dollar tree and neighborhood foraging witch! There’s no shame!!

Indian Stores! Ghee is AMAZING, girl if you have not used it do so! It burns clean. It tastes great! You do not need to refrigerate it and bugs do not bother it. It has a high burning point (better popcorn oil than the icky oil used). The butter favor is nutty and smooth. They also tend to have some more rare resins as some Hindus use it in Puja (daily rituals). I got turmeric in bulk. Cinnamon, Bay leaves, holy basil. etc. Also, the HEM incense tends to be way cheap there! They also have a lot of brass containers too. Some pricey some not. Statues of Hindu Gods can be really expensive but IMO as admire of Ganesha, I'd rather have something from His actual homeland. Anyway...same for Asian markets! Folks, don't buy it as the regular stores as they tend to mark up everything in their "International" section. Just go to a local Ethnic food market for better quality items. Sometimes the prices are competitive but many times, I have found things like rose water for way cheaper and in glass containers that can be reused.

CRAAP 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 that is PERFECT! I can't stand misinformation. The latest form of misinformation becoming a trend was Hecates Night on November 12th, it was UPG and the person did not say it was then it blew up. On the Morning of the Eclipse I had an apocalyptic flood dream, I woke up being worried but my logical mind was like "No!" So I created an IG post talking about the Eclipse, Religion, Fear-Mongering, and Anxiety. I mentioned the earthquake and the Statue of Liberty getting struck by lightning as well. Even though my logical mind was thinking this way, I still had anxiety for almost half of the day. I didn't even watch or read much of the fear-mongering posts about the eclipse like 5 or less. The day after that I woke up with anxiety do to the possible apocalypse even though it "was supposed to happen" yesterday. I decided to go Live here on TH-cam about the topic and I started it off with "Hey! Did we d*e? Was there a rapture?" The day before the eclipse I saw a tiktok of a woman that I followed about 3 years ago (I'm not on tiktok much) and she was talking about the spiritual meaning behind the Statue of Liberty getting struck by lightning and I was like "No Ma'am" and went onto another tiktok. I have been meaning to unfollow her for a while now. I heard about that woman, it's sad. I love graphs lol.
