Many of the original singers switched to R &B. They were pressured by poverty. Records executives didn’t promote gospel music like they did the devil’s music, as some religious zealots referred to it. I love both genres. It’s all God’s work

Sounds like the originals. I remember being a young boy riding from Michigan to Mississippi. On our way to Ponatoc and Shannon Miss. Listening to this song. Plus the Jubes, Original Keynotes, Jackson Southernairs, William Bros, the list goes on and on. Now that I'm a grown man, "Man how time fly". We truly don't have any time to lose.
