Can't mistake John's bass work in there!
Had the opportunity to watch this excellent band many times at The Guildhall in Portsmouth. Really hardworking bunch of musicians.
52 years on, anyone still listening in 2024 ? What a song 🎵 😍
Yeah, I am, you've got to hear it in proper stereo to really appreciate it. I can still remember hearing this album for the first time...absolute rock perfection to me.
One of the most underrated British bands of the 60s/70s and this was the most unexpected hit single. Very hard to categorise them, but go after their discography and find gems.
This is great!!!
Gotta hand it to you as a fellow musician - this is pretty good. Lightfoot is always worth covering. But the fat people outside the place dancing... That's hands down the best part!
Thanks Vera. This came out great!
Wtf, are those tabs working for you?!!!....
This band are my favourite band of all time, and this track, absolutely love it, defy anybody to listen to this and not dance, album bought for me when I was 15, 1972
A lot of people don’t know ric was a great violin player used to watch them Saturday night at the casino Leicester when they were James king and the farinas knew ric in the high fields when we were both 15 last time I saw him was kings road when he was in blind faith sadly missed
Family at their peak. Magnificent.
Yes it is great. But nothing much else of their output was.
Our local Leicester lads ‘brill , Chappo one of the great rock voices 🇬🇧🎼
Different vocals , Rn'b at its best, musically excellent, something different, 50 years on this still makes me enjoy music
My favorite cut from that album!
where is the video form?
wow love this brought back memories the intro fabulous
Seen them live at plymouth guildhall in the 70s think rog got through a bottle of whiskey that night
I remember this track from 72 I was 18 still a great song.
Roger!
Absolutely NOBODY has a voice like Chappo !
Makes me remember I too have an ambition
why was this not in the Get Back film??!?
Can't decide if I prefer this version or the Streetwalkers one.
what a voice! my era, fantastic
Rock meets Funk, unique music ......very funky !!
RIP Chad Allan
This used to bang out on the jukebox in my favourite watering hole in the 70s. Back room full of my long haired peers, we would turn the volume up ourselves, that jukebox was full of epic music like this, what a time to live!!
Love this tune!
Blessed to have seen them live a few times. They were on a par with the best live acts of the time and wonderfully unique.
Reminds me of The Mike Curb Conflagration.
Very nice
Coming back to the past and listening to this wonderful song. Amazing. So Nice! From brasil.
Used to walk past the Burlesque to my school in the 60's - lve this group and Chappo
The Goat at his most electric !
Cracking 70's rocker ! love it , the only front man who gave Noddy Holder a run for his money.I may be 66, but this song gets me up on my feet,
I honestly thought this song from was from the 1920s, but the drums is too modern. BenBuja... how on earth did you find this song. But for 15 years I've known it... 15 yesrs of bloopers glitches and silly stuff
Saw them a few times but I remember the farewell tour others supporting them Crazy world of Arthur brown and the brilliant Roy Buchanan R.I.P. Memorable times.
All of the forgoing. Im 75 and listening to this, as I oftendo, brings back terific memories.
Hey kids, this was how it was done.
Gruppo incredibile, quando uscì Bandstad comprai la tape, avevo 15 anni.... Long time..
Saw Roger and Family lived in Hyde Park in 1968 I think. Raw power and a great set list.
Simply a great song from a great group
Do you guys still do this show? I'm a fairly big Zappa fan and live nearby. Hate to think I missed a local-ish Zappa show.
great song!
No wonder we rocked and gave it what fettle back in the days where there was no let up ! Just think about it we were spoilt rotten with fantastically long lasting bands that's never been 4gotten and shouldn't ever be !
CHAD ALLEN FROM ORIGIAL REFLEXTIONS NICE TO HERE AGAIN.
is that robert from village idiot on guitar?? LOL
did everyone get their booster before entering?
I saw this group at some dive bar on Dundas street in London years ago. The Swedish death metal event the week before was way better. It's pretty funny to see bands 30 years past their prime still roll out in coffins.
