LITTLE INDIA: a must visit location for Street Photographers
In this week's video, I headed down to what I think is the best place for street photography here in Singapore, Little India.
I will also be sharing with you guys some of the pictures that I shot on 35mm film, the Holga 400 and Fujifilm 200 specifically. I will also be talking about my thought process when taking some of those pictures.
It was a really fun day solo photo walking and I hope you guys will join me as I share this amazing experience!

A few things to note with shooting Polaroid film: The current film uses new chemistry formulas that are not as stable as the pre bankrupt Polaroid company. Polaroids help section gives lots of advice for when using its film. The dynamic range of current Polaroid film (sx70/600/i type) is in my experience very narrow; about 3 stops so exposure needs to be very accurate for best results. Cameras like the Sx70 you use are old and susceptible to mechanical and electronic issues because of this and it’s recommended to get them serviced/referbed if possible. Taking pictures with the SX70 is quite an experience and a large part of what makes shooting Polaroids so interesting, even more so than using current made Polaroid cameras. Using the Sx70 is and was a unique photographic experience.

I think my batch of Polaroids in this video were a little funky as well. But I’m just shocked to see that there were quite drastic differences. Where I live, it’s always between 30-32degs and the sun is always blazing (except during the monsoon season) so not exactly the “best” place for Polaroids to survive in. Haha.

I can't buy Polaroid SX-70 film online. It may be out of stock.:(
I have not tried ordering it directly from Polaroid website directly, I ordered mine from a local vendor. You should check around locally if any camera shop has brought them in to your country!
Get your azz kicked just asking that question around die hard sx-70 users.😂 There is an entire industry of people making living refurbishing and upgrading them to modern cameras. The instant camera guy is the best. You can find his TH-cam channel and see his amazing work.

hello! thank you for popping by and dropping such kinds words on my video, I truly appreciate it. and yes, film photography can get very expensive really quickly and you must learn to have the discipline and not let it go overboard. I've learned to instead let the excitement come in as one initial burst, take that energy and try to spread it out and make it a marathon instead of a sprint. haha. and thank you again for liking my style of shooting, haha I am still exploring different styles of shooting my photography content and they next one will be vastly different from this, so keep a lookout!

why aren't you using your phone to write all down/deviding everything in your notebook?
i used to do it a long time ago, i just found myself not referring to them as much as i'd like to and also simply just forgetting about them also i find my phone to have way too many distractions and its difficult for me to keep my focus, partly because i have mild symptoms of adhd as well i find writing works best for me as it makes me remember things easier and also.. i find it fun to write! haha.
you must come back to Tromsø or Lofoten to see the northern Lights, BTW: We have awesome wedding destinations😀
the thing is with Norway: Don't jlet you stop of darkness, rain or fear, especially in the North. We have a saying:it's not a shame to turn around!/you must try but if you feel , you can't do it, give up! Because people died even in summer, because nature is stronger than people. And :Adapt and listen to advise from Norwegians, then you should like Norway, especially the North/ I'm. moved to Norway , living here for 20 years .
