Occasionally uploading emo/hardcore/punk, et cetera.
I have a blog called "Do You Feel At Home?" dedicated to passionately waffling and lovingly archiving unremembered emo/hardcore/punk music and bands. I sincerely encourage you to give it a look if you're at all interested! Oh, also, take a look-see at my Instagram page if you're keen on seeing cool and/or obscure physical releases.
No monetary gain is to be made from this channel, and I will immediately delete any offending videos upon request. I also do my best to give credit where it's due, but, if I've missed something, please, do let me know!

Once A Hero - Stealing Street Signs (2003)
Ann Arbor, MI based emo/pop-punk four-piece that existed from the fall of 2000 to the spring of 2004. Annabelle burst into flames. Twas a horrific sight.
Found a sealed copy of this relic loitering in the back of the same store I touched upon in the description of Ready To Fail's 'Unforgiving Tears' EP! It's been uploaded track by track over the years (Nakita M and the Emo Archive channel), but I figured with a proper scan and rip, a full upload wouldn't be cause for alarm. For those intrigued, their rather dated webpage is still operational and is a joy to dig through!
Fun fact! Once A Hero played their first ever show with none other than Wesley Willis.

Ready To Fail - Unforgiving Tears EP (2003)
มุมมอง 8214 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Austin, TX based four-piece emo/pop-punk band that existed from 2002 to 2004. Found this one in an old mall out in San Antonio, and, moreover, in the back of a Halloween pop-up shop! They had a selection of used media at the back, so this is one of the pulls from me and a past friends perusing. The deliberate misspelling on track four is just adorable! All the inserts are very clearly hand-cut,...
Blush - Hopscotch 7" (2000)
มุมมอง 11421 วันที่ผ่านมา
The only wax release from this Oklahoma indie-rock/pop quintet. Super fun stuff! I found this one in an odd little shop out in the Dallas area, and, unsurprisingly, it had no inner sleeve (and had been sitting on the shelves simply rotting away for goodness knows how many years). Got it home, cleaned it some... it was (and still is) pretty thrashed, and also a little quiet. They released a CDEP...

RIP Nick.
nicely done. ending was very intimate.
The singer kind of reminds me of the Offspring dude but without the rasp
this rips
Is this the same band from FL from waaaaaay back?been searching for this shit for 14y.
This was, in fact, the work of Boyd Shropshire! Check the description for a write-up on this project!

So Damn Sad, RIP Nick, Bay Area Hardcore Legend; 🖤
Wild. I’m from Canada and still think about him.
I will not submit. I will not break. I will not break.
That snare hits @9:23 on the album and it’s over…
I was friends with their cousin, way back in the 90’s. I left AZ and couldn’t find this and now, like 25 years later, someone puts it on TH-cam within the last year, awesome and thank you!
This is brilliant, but Operation Ivy is still the front runner, more than 10 years older than this. And more influential to other people. Dont get me wrong-I prefer this, as it is more hardcore and TRUE when it comes to lyrics
You can like two things at the same time. This is not like the other. That doesn’t make it brilliant in its own right.
damn this channel owns
This was really good. I hope to be able to actually get a physical copy of this some day
They made far too many copies...
miss this genre, reminds me of the promise ring, capn jazz, etc.
Great album, memory flood . ❤
Aged better than op ivy
Wow thanks This song was stuck in my head from 20 years ago
It's so sad we can't find more of this
Thanks for that.. I haven’t listened all the way through in a very long time. I was the drummer and that brought back some memories.
would you mind sharing the rip please?
Heyhey. You can find a folder with every piece of A4A's discography from me via Soulseek!
@@doyoufeelathomehere thanks a bunch for reply! never saw this album popping up in the manual search, and i have it added to wishlist as well what's your username?
though i could guess it's the same as here :)
@@sasha.chauchat That it is! I believe I have the folder listed as "A4A", if that helps. It should still be shared, but, I'm not home, so I cannot check.

what year was this released?
2008, or thereabouts!

Awesome. Thank you. I still have this cd but I don’t even have a cd player anymore.
I was in two bands with Jason Ei. He's a very talented musician and a great friend. Check out Birds of India " American Eggs" ep. We recorded it in AZ. Origanally from PA. Toured with Up Up Down Down and split up afterwards. We all still keep in touch though.
I have checked it out, and love it! Oh, and yeah, the Up Up Down Down guys are awesome. What was the other band you and him were a part of? I'm assuming it was Roger That Houston!
@@doyoufeelathomehere The first band I was in with Jay was called One Over F with Kev Lee (same drummer in Birds of India), John Parise (we had 3 guitar players me, John and Jay). Casey Durkin played bass. Then later in life Roger That Houston showed up. The William Tell Routine, Elora Danon (I think), and Decathlete. All bands Jay sang in. Estrella and Downtrain also (before my time). If you like that Scranton sound check out Okay Paddy also. The singer for Up Up Down Down passed away recently. He was hilarious on tour. And we got us all kicked out of Texas one night. They were pretty upset after that.
@@doyoufeelathomehere Jay and I both played guitar in Birds of India. He sang too. And Bob Hoag did some backup vocals on "Thanks for Coming". Caleb Chambers (a friend we made in AZ) did backups on "Pavlov". I wish we did more than 6 songs for that ep, but it was all worth it.
@@ayeye6680 Yeah, I heard about his passing recently and was very sad. Rest in peace, Up Up Down Down was way ahead of their time. Okay Paddy rocks, and so does Roger That Houston, love both of those projects. I was actually wondering something in regards to The William Tell Routine; did that split with the Jazz June ever come to be? What happened to that? Oh, and would you guys have happened to have any demo material lying around for any of those projects? I'd kill to hear it!
@@doyoufeelathomehere I don't think the Jazz June split ever happened. Roger That Houston did put out split on Sun Sea Sky I think. And I forget who the other band on it was. I have about 5/6 cassette tapes of old band practices and random other recordings. That's how we recorded back then. We had an old gray boombox with that built in Mic. Then we would all state at it when we did a playback. As soon as I can figure out where to take them to hopefully convert them I'll let you know for sure. You re-motivated me. Sadly we all lost our copies of everything from Birds of India. I have one copy. We did a 7" with a song called Bloomers on it. And lost all of them. From moving or just random shitty occurrences. That 7" was recorded in Williamson Valley, AZ by a guy who toured with Rod Stewart. I could care less, but he had a studio in a barn. Jay and I were painters for work in Prescott, AZ. That guy said if we paint the barn he'd record us. It was a good time. And wish I still had a copy of it.

Thank you for posting 💜
Wow, hello! You're welcome for posting, I love this record dearly! I have a question, did yall have any other material before or after this disc? If I remember correctly there was a split with The Jazz June that was rumored about?
Ooo that's a great question. It rings a bell but it was a long time ago and may have been before I joined (1999). If a split was produced, it would've been by Eric and Double Decker.@@doyoufeelathomehere
You weren’t kidding. This record fucking rips
