You are misunderstanding governing authorities and the Word. The governing authority that authors and finishes faith is the light that God is. Not that light (darkness) is the governing authority for anti-christs. The Word is in the light. 1 John 1:7. All have chosen the darkness: {5:6} Therefore have we erred from the way of truth, and the light of righteousness hath not shined unto us, and the sun of righteousness rose not upon us. {5:7} We wearied ourselves in the way of wickedness and destruction: yea, we have gone through deserts, where there lay no way: but as for the way of the Lord, we have not known it.
@@swen6797 what you're saying is not true. The context is about civil government. That's why they can execute God's wrath (v. 3-5) and why we pay taxes (v. 6-7).
@MammothSpringchurchofChrist you're the liar not practicing truth because the darkness governs your deeds. 1 John 1:6. Why don't you preach how to come to the light to have your deeds governed by the Word in the light? John 3:21. Welcome to the Greatly Deceived Club: {5:6} Therefore have we erred from the way of truth, and the light of righteousness hath not shined unto us, and the sun of righteousness rose not upon us. {5:7} We wearied ourselves in the way of wickedness and destruction: yea, we have gone through deserts, where there lay no way: but as for the way of the Lord, we have not known it.
@swen6797 your accusations are completely empty. Nothing you've said makes any sense.
Watching Friday afternoon.

In other words, be gullible and don't ask for evidence. Perfect way to keep believing this fairy tale.
@@salserokorsou perhaps one of the more ignorant answers that you can give.
@MammothSpringchurchofChrist Prov. 3 Verses 5 to 6 [5] Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Like I said, the Bible teaches you to be stupid.
@@salserokorsouWhat is your explanation for our existence?
@harmsway9365 I don't know. Why are you asking?
@@salserokorsou Blind belief in something is to be gullible. Faith isn’t blind belief. I despise when someone (either Christian or atheist) pulls one verse from the Bible to try and settle scores. There’s enough through the scriptures with actual historical events, firsthand testimonies of miracles, hundreds of fulfilled prophecies to root real faith in god and Jesus Christ. You just have to put the time in. Man I’ve been through it. I went to a “Christian” church in my younger years and yes they trapped the gullible into their version of scripture which was basically a cult. I was probably in your same boat where I didn’t know what to believe for a long time. We tend to define Christianity by the majority of Christians that don’t lead by example and that turns a lot of people away like yourself. When I returned to faith I made sure to 100% know why I believe what I believe and made a strong effort to actually study the Bible instead of just read it. I can get you started if you want
If judus was a saved soul, from the beginning of him being of the numbered, how could satan enter him? Should he not been protected?
Good question! The Bible tell us that he was the same as every other apostle - same power and authority (Matt. 10:1-4). The Bible also says that he "fell by transgression" (Acts 1:25). You cannot fall from some place you've never been. Also, the nature of temptation and sin is revealed in James 1:13-15. Being a saved person does not stop you from ever sinning or falling.
I 1000% agree. One thought, on whether or not he had a choice or not, is the word transgression that was used of him in Acts, I believe. Transgression is like trespassing. You see the line and CHOOSE to step over the boundary. That's why he was chosen. God knew, in His sovereignty, that Judas would fulfill the prophecy. But I believe he could have been forgiven and restored, like Peter, but he wasn't repentant, but rather mourned for being caught. He probably was to ashamed to face everyone, especially after the supper.
Who cares. It’s a book. Fairy tales. Debunked over and over. Time to take your god goggles of and read it cover to cover. Best way out of Christianity. 👍🏻

Everyone nowadays is so swept up in dispensational thinking, you are considered a heretic if you mention anything but it. It's very frustrating but if it's not dispensationalism then it's something else, I guess.
Yeah. Dispensationalism and Calvinism
@@MammothSpringchurchofChrist Yes, the opposite of dispensationalism would be the rational choice.
Interesting post.
Jews are not Israel anymore, after Jesus came he created a new covenant for all that accept him as the Lord and Saviour of mankind to become the God's chosen peoole - Israel. Christians are Israel.
WRONG. Have you read the Bible? God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. What makes you think he will change His people. The Church doesn't replace Isreal, instead we are "grafted in". Please study what the Bible says without relying on what a pastor says.
@JPMedia Galatians 3:29 ESV “And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.” Romans 9:6-13 ESV “But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel, and not all are children of Abraham because they are his offspring, but ‘Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.’ This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as offspring. For this is what the promise said: ‘About this time next year I will return, and Sarah shall have a son.’ And not only so, but also when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad-in order that God’s purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls-she was told, ‘The older will serve the younger.’ As it is written, ‘Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.’” Romans 9:25-27 ESV “As indeed he says in Hosea, ‘Those who were not my people I will call “my people,” and her who was not beloved I will call “beloved.” And in the very place where it was said to them, “You are not my people,” there they will be called “sons of the living God.”’ And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: ‘Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved.’” 1 Peter 2:9-10 ESV “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” Exodus 19:5-6 ESV “Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine; and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the people of Israel.” The entire Romans 11 also speaks how jewish branches of non believers that rejected Christ were broken off and replaced by gentile branches that were grafted in.
Wer Ohren hat zu höre, der höre was der Geist der Gemeinde sagt.
You haven't yet connected the final dot to what grace is and how it is received. "Complying with His will" is more than a few dots unconnected. Righteousness is the key. "Light is sown like a seed for the righteous." Ps 97:11 nasb. {5:6} Therefore have we erred from the way of truth, and the light of righteousness hath not shined unto us, and the sun of righteousness rose not upon us. {5:7} We wearied ourselves in the way of wickedness and destruction: yea, we have gone through deserts, where there lay no way: but as for the way of the Lord, we have not known it.
There are only a few that will accept this and practice it, if that is even possible at this moment. The rest will remain sinners, who are not the children of God (1 John 3:9), and will sleep for the millenium if they showed intent for Micah 6:8, despite not knowing they were deceived about what the gospel actually is, and how to accept it. Jeremiah 8:8. "In Christ" means you have abided in the light and night of the world to reap righteousness; keeping His covenants for day and night, to become circumcised inwardly. Jeremiah 33:20,25. The Jewish nation is those not yet circumcised inwardly.
You're not even using the King James bible, as you're using a perverted bible. And repentance is a change of mind from whatever one is trusting in that's keeping them form trusting in Christ lone to trust in in Christ alone. And water baptism was never required for salvation if that's the baptism you are speaking about.
@@todareistodomyfoot8403 the idea that KJV is the best is a historically ignorant and untenable position. Have you ever taken the time to wonder what people did before the King James came out in the 17th century? Also, to deny the necessity of baptism is just as historically ignorant and untenable.
@@MammothSpringchurchofChrist The KJV is from the textus receptus, it's a direct translation from the bible and there are no contradictions in it. The other bibles stem from Wescott and Hort two staunch Roman Catholics and known occultist who made up their own versions. You are not reading the word of God if you are reading modern versions. You either believe that God has preserved his word perfectly pure without error for EVERY generation or you don't. Do you want me to find that scripture for you? BE NOT DECEIVED as God is not the author of confusion and he warns those who add and take from his word.
@@todareistodomyfoot8403 which KJV do you mean? The 1611 that contained the apocrypha? The 1629? The 1638? The 1760? The 1881?
@@MammothSpringchurchofChrist Don't try to distract you serpent child of the devil Jesuit.. What are you? modern day Pharisee who hates the pure word of God? A Jesuit snake shutting up heaven to the lost where you neither go in yourself? You know exactly what you hate, the 16011 King James bible and no other perverted bible like the one you read. Your kind tried to destroy King James and the pure word of God. but you will not prevail because Gods promise stands forever.
@@MammothSpringchurchofChrist Did you hear the fellow talking, "unstable he says? You use one of the modern watered down corrupt versions and you're talking about unstable? Stick your neck back in son, you need to take God at his promise and stop fighting against it. There ain't nothing good about the modern versions. Get yourself an Authorized King James Bible 1611 versions and you'll see that it has a built in dictionary, and has no contradictions. His name is glorified, the blood isn't tampered with and works aren't added onto the salvation message. We're not being saved like the modern versions perpetuate, we are saved now and forever as the King James says. God is not the author of confusion, as man didn't write this book by his own hand. Jesus Christ wrote the bible by the power of his Spirit through the pen of his chosen vessels.
Paul also said, after he was rescued from sinning, Roman’s 7, those in the flesh, Which leads to death, have no desire to obey God’s law, nor can they. Those in the spirit ( saved from sinning), which leads to life and becoming a child of the Father, must put to death the misdeeds of the flesh. Salvation is the means in which, after turning from sin ( repenting), our past sins are forgiven by the sacrifice of the Messiah and through the Spirit of Holiness we are able to “go and sin no more”. God is not mocked. This is not a game .
Hallelujah and Amen
I was baptized, repented and was born again in Jesus. Then I sinned many times, I am struggling with forgiveness of myself 😢😢
That struggle is not uncommon. First John is a wonderful book of reassurance.
Leave Jews alone.
You must go through Acts 2:38 that's what the Apostle Peter said
Of course. But it is also true that we are saved by faith.
Thanks. i enjoyed your video Jesus is lord 🙏

I have studied this for years and discovered a few interesting facts. The phrase sons of God was never used to describe the angels in the book of Job not until the Masoretic Text was written which interestingly came almost a thousand years after the time of Jesus. Jesus claimed to be the only begotten Son of God. Even in the Targum of Job 38:7 written in the 1st century BC the phrase sons of God was not found. Job 38:7 (Targum) When the morning stars shone all the angels of God shouted together. Job 38:7 (LXX) When the stars were made, all my angels praised me with a loud voice. I couldn't find the phrase sons of God referring to angels at all in the LXX. Job 1:6 And it came to pass on a day, that behold, the angels of God came to stand before the Lord, and the devil came with them. Job 2:1 And it came to pass on a certain day, that the angels of God came to stand before the Lord, and the devil came among them to stand before the Lord Job 4:18 Whereas he trust not in his servants, and perceives perverseness in his angels. Now I did find the phrase sons of God referring to Israel in Deuteronomy 32 and interestingly I found the phrase angels of God in the same verse. Part of this verse is found in Hebrews 1:6. Deut 32:43 Rejoice, ye heavens, with him, and let all the angels of God worship him; rejoice ye Gentiles, with his people, and let all the sons of God strengthen themselves in him; for he will avenge the blood of his sons, and he will render vengeance, and recompense justice to his enemies, and will reward them that hate him; and the Lord shall purge the land of his people. This verse alone proves that angels were never called sons of God before the Masoretic Text was written. Why the MT scribes decided to call angels sons of God is a mystery that we can only speculate on, but I just wonder if it had to do with Jesus's claim that He was the Messiah. Would a Jewish scribe hundreds of years after the time of Christ in any way endorse the Church, the writings of the New Testament, and Jesus being the Son of God? Maybe in their mind if angels were identified as sons of God then this Jesus they all knew about wasn't really anything unique or special. Just a thought. Unfortunately, there are no Hebrew texts older than the Septuagint so we could actually see if the angels in the book of Job were originally called sons of God before the Greek LXX was translated from Hebrew. If angels were once called the sons of God then it would seem that everywhere the word angel was found in the Old Testament it should have said sons of God. But that isn't the case. Food for thought.
Great summary! Keep it up.
Thanks!

I would rather not take the chance of going contrary to GOD where there is no example in the Bible of woman baptizing or teaching a man it has to do with headship .Let us not go ahead of GOD and his SON Jesus .Doctrines of man are not of GOD
Where man thinks there are holes in the road were there are none you end up with a bumpy road
Are women subject to the great commission?
Amen
@@MammothSpringchurchofChrist Where in the Bible does it say the woman should take the lead over a man .I can show you no where in the Bible where a woman can baptize so if it is not there then i will no assume it is right to do so if GOD or Jesus did not say it i will not do it and they did not
@@jimAndCheryl in terms of teaching, 1 Timothy 2 answers your question. If you have a wife, is your wife permitted to teach a man or a woman the gospel and then baptize them? If not, then she is not subject to the great commission. I will say this - if a man is present, I believe a man should do the baptizing. That, however, does not forbid a woman from fulfilling the great commission and doing the same. The one doing the baptizing makes absolutely no difference.
Thank you for the message 👍 Here is a good verse about the Holy Ghost in another testament of Jesus Christ called The Book of Mormon Moroni 10:3 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts. 4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. 5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.
1 Corinthians 4:1-2. There are twelve Kingdom mysteries of God written in 27 verses. Stay Awesome!
Amen! Amen! Amen! 1 Peter 4. We were born to suffer in the joy of the Lord. 1 Peter 4:12-13. Beloved, Think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you. But rejoice inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christs sufferings: that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
My favorite, most dangerous doctrine is you can’t stop sinning. Meaning you must sin. You have no control because you can’t stop. Coupled with almost everything you do is a sin.
Interesting is this the only sin god hates and if not then why not talk about the others?

I appreciate what you are doing and keep it up. Just a thought for you. Start with the verse as the “Video Hook” and then explain the message. Please know that is just some information for you to think about and not being critical of your content
Thanks for watching! I don't consider it critical.
Abraham was justified by believing the promise. CASE CLOSED. FAITH ALONE. WE ARE JUSTIFIED BY THE BLOOD. WE ARE JUSTIFIED BY OUR WORDS. WE ARE JUSTIFIED BY DEEDS. WE ARE SAVED ONLY BY BELIEVING.
You only make assertions in your comment. You provide no Scripture.
We have not been raised like Jesus . Our bodies are still decaying. When we see HIM we will be like Him? Have you seen Him ?
If one has been baptized into Christ and His death, there is a resurrection unto a new life. That's Romans 6:3-4.
So if my eyes are opened to my sin, and I repent of that sin and except Jesus Christ as my savior. But I was baptized as a baby, and I am conflicted about being baptized, a second time and while pondering and seeking the Lord about baptism by immersion, I die in a car accident, I was never saved?
Good question. Infant baptism is a practice that developed in the postapostolic age. It is not taught in Scripture. What is taught in Scripture about baptism is the need for hearing and believing the preached gospel. Jesus said that in Mark 16:15-16. Paul practiced that in Corinth (Acts 18:8). We see the same thing in Samaria (Acts 8:12-13). Infants do not have the capacity to believe the gospel or repent of sin. Infant baptism is also connected to the false idea of original sin and sin nature. Salvation is promised by Jesus to those who believe and are baptized.
John 3:16. Believe! John 6:28-29. Works of God! John 6:40. Will of God!
I see that you’re part of the “church of Christ”. Are you one of those who believe only people in the CoC go to heaven? Would you be upset if one of your church members moved and started going to a Baptist or Lutheran church?
I am one of those who believe that those who do the will of the Father will go to heaven. Both of your questions are leading. I would be upset if someone left the congregation where I preach to go to a Baptist or Lutheran church. Both of those institutions teach doctrines that will damn your soul. Yes, I have a problem with that.
..Nope..don't add to what Paul said.. We are DEAD to sin..
@@doncooper512 I didn't add a thing
@@MammothSpringchurchofChrist..You added the word HABIT.. We are DEAD to sin..
@@doncooper512 Paul was writing in the present tense in Romans 6:12. "Do not let sin be reigning." Christians are dead to sin, but they can still sin. 1 John 1:7-2:2.
@@MammothSpringchurchofChrist..Yes they can sin..but what is doing the sinninng..? Our fleshh bodies are not our new life in Christ.. 1John 3:9- *"Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."*
@doncooper512 1 John 3:9 is also present tense. "Whosoever is born of God does not keep on sinning...he cannot keep on sinning because he is born of God." Romans 6 is talking about our bodies and the new life in Christ. You cannot separate those two things. Paul certainly doesn't.
The Gospel - I Corinthians 15:1-4.
So check this out, you just helped me figure out male and female love; if it were combined = Gods love for us. Never really thought of it in that manner.
No not by faith! ✝️ It was imputed unto him for Righteousness! ✝️
No one can Believe that Christ is God and paid the price for our sin without The Holy Spirit's conviction. Abraham, as a sinner, knew that His Saviour was promised by The Father. Abrahan was promised by God that his Saviour would come from his lineage, therefore, when God told him to sacrifice Isaac, his only son, he knew that his Faith in God would be sufficient because of God's promise to him. As a sinful human, no one could possibly go through with that sacrifice but, The Holy Spirit saw him through it. That is why John 3:16 is so powerful that God gave his only begotten Son that we may live!!! We can't do anything without The Holy Spirit!!!
Ha, found you again. I subbed.
