I like the this guitar so much. It feels so different from my Jackson though. The neck isn't as thin. I've had a hell of a time getting the right feel from it though. I've been tweaking the setup for months.

I bought an EC-1000 Deluxe with a broken headstock. I fixed it and love it. HOWEVER, I pulled the rear cavity cover (I repair, set up and customize guitars) and was shocked to find the cheapest, no name dime sized Chinese shit pots in such a "nice" guitar. It's a shame all you reviewers never check. I'd be pissed if I had bought it new. Shitty-ass shit

Or just get a pair of professional studio monitors that have a very wide frequency response, from 30hz to 20.000hz and you won't need a subwoofer. Plenty of awesome brands make them, like Adam Audio, HEDD, Genelec. You just need lots of cash.

Like you, I was inspired by the WT team and got the same guitar lol. I have always been a tele player due to its versatility but i think the prs gives even more tonal range with the humbuckers. The frets are impeccable and I love my se custom 24 se. Same color as yours too. I don't care much for the gloss neck finish either but overall fantastic guitar for P&W!

How hard is it to find pickguards that fit my Jazzmaster perfectly? I have a CV 60's JM and have no idea. Recently I bought an AllParts guard but it was very different like none of the screw holes were at the right place

I have the G4M ( subzero rebrand same guitar in white lol ) its my first baritone guitar ever feel like i jumped in at the deep end , the strings on it were 24-84 and were utterly garbage quality, quickly realised after taking them off I have absolutely no clue about baritone gauges or string gauges or sizes for baritones lol what would you guys recommend? I definitely dont need or want 24-84 again though

Great video Justin! Your storey sounds just like mine 😆. I landed on the Mackie 824 MK1's myself and calibrated them with SoundID but I still wasn't happy with the bottom end so, I added a little 1.5db boost to the lower frequencies between 20 to 180Hz using the already calibrated file within Sonarworks and, as soon as I did this, I was much happier with the playback of my favourite music and was able to mix a lot quicker in general. I'm just about to purchase an SVR SB1000 Pro sub woofer and I was interested to see how other people have set subs up using Sound ID. Yours was the first video I came across.😉BR, Luca.

Any quality issues year after? Neck keeps geometry?

This applies only to bedroom playing-a guitar with P90s will drive you nuts in a live set. The neck is also too thick for my taste, but that’s just personal preference.

Guitar players: goin out of tune every three minutes is superior to staying perfectly in tune forever. Personally I have modified my piano to also go out of tune evey three minutes and my Casio keyboard also has a mod to make it go randomly out of tune, this makes for superior music you see. Therefore fuck Evertune

i just got one and honestly it's just ok, the frets are huge like huge huge frets might need to file them down, they are huge like railroad ties in my opinion and just don't feel comfortable , the tuners are nothing great they are not very responsive, i.e. I turn them and nothing really happens and a little bit of play in them,. as far as the sound the jury is still out. I don't have anything to compare it to, I mean I had a jazzmaster with S.D. Antiquities and they were amazing. these are just ok . sorry my honest opinion.

What about harmonics, pinch especially? I play a lot of Pantera, killswitch style music. How are those pickups for squealy pinch harmonics?

I like the kemper better , it’s really hard to hear exactly how it sounds on TH-cam , but you get an idea. The kemper behaves more like a real amp and you can feel it in your chest when you have a real good profile. Not a huge fan of pluggings my self . But I think this one sounded really good

Try Kontakt for a better guitar sounds impact soundworks sherddage packs bit expensive but worth it

sure you are on it now but reflections in a non symmetric room could account for volume differences in a stereo image.
