ICU Management and Practice
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 17 พ.ย. 2017
This is the Official TH-cam Channel of ICU Management & Practice Journal.
ICU Management & Practice focuses on best practice, leadership and management of critically ill patients based on the most recent clinical developments. The journal aims to address the constant need to improve quality of care and to provide ‘more for less’, and to provide guidance on leadership and management issues, as many clinicians lack specific training in management.
Produced four times per year under the stewardship of Prof. Jean-Louis Vincent and a distinguished international editorial board, the journal has become the point of reference in the increasingly sophisticated area of intensive care, emergency medicine and anaesthesiology.
The journal is a supporter of the International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (ISICEM) and works in close collaboration with the most important international associations and congresses.

Landiolol - The Game Changer (Explained)
Understanding the Features of Landiolol
In this DigiTalk (I Expert, I Topic, I Minute), Professor Michel Slama, Chairman of Critical Care Medicine at Amiens University Hospital, France, discusses the unique features of Landiolol.
Landiolol stands out due to its high ratio between B1 and B2 receptors, much higher than esmolol, atenolol, or metoprolol. This characteristic means that Landiolol effectively decreases heart rate without causing a drop in blood pressure.
Key points highlighted include:
Heart Rate Management:
Landiolol decreases heart rate efficiently.
Stable Blood Pressure:
Unlike Esmolol, Landiolol does not lead to a decrease in mean arterial pressure, even at high doses.
Clinical Implications:
In septic shock, where maintaining blood pressure is crucial, Landiolol may be more advantageous compared to Esmolol.
For a detailed comparison, the study presented shows heart rate changes with increased doses of esmolol (blue) and Landiolol (red). Notably, Landiolol maintains stable mean arterial pressure, making it a preferable choice in certain critical care situations.

My husband has Bcall lymphoma that has spread to the brain spinal and brain stem mainly . He is disabled already. And also very malnutrition as he has a feeding tube because the cancer paralyzed his ability to swallow and open eyes he also has inability to walk. Or talk well. Would you do Car t cell if it was your family member or would you take this time to not be suffering in pain. If there is a chance we want to take it but he does not want to extend life that may involve more severe suffering. As of now his life is bedside, mostly, and we do enjoy being able to speak and hold hands.... What is your advice, as you are not affiliated with his hospital who very much wants to do this therepy in two weeks.
Interesting

#Covid_vaccine is a resistance of covid virus to create new variant, it only able to hide the symptoms after get infected, at the same time to enhance your immunity system to against the virus temporarily like 'MURPHY', "against the virus not eliminated", currently the opportunity to the death of having vaccine injection is less due to it's ineffectiveness since vaccine maker has been modified it to be safe. covid vaccine has the structure of HIV virus same as covid virus, it will permanently stay at human body. Vaccine manufacturer can be sued now after FDA fully approve those vaccine?, this is great liberty status evo. A lot of people death or having long term adverse reaction in vaccination before, and the government still keep hiding the truth.↟≪▲

Well done, it shows a really different attitude towards the "factor of human resources". It reflects on her way of leadership (and very likely as she is as a person🙂 ). Kudos for all of that! I hope she goes forward with this innovative project after the pandemic! This could be potentially changing baselines in a harsh enviroment, that already lacks skilled healthcare workers!
