That's where both Emily and Victor are sold! I really like how they look but they do come off somewhat stiff. But it is nice to see props like these.

I painted them with a water-resistant clear coat that will allow them to age! Just didn't have the time this year to gray wash them but they are already aging nicely on their own due to just how old they are. Still like your idea for them though!

Use a step pad or a switch!

I can't recall. This was one from last year but it might still be on the Menards website.

We installed another light in the middle but that red didn't turn out as reflective as I thought it would be. We will definitely be looking at that soon. Opening night will be tomorrow hope to see you there!

Most hardware stores will have it. They sell it in a large bale for real cheap.

The whole process (including drying) is around 17-20 days depending on how fast you're going. It takes a while to dry and will take up most of the time. Let me know if you have any questions when you go to make one!

Personally, I think most store-bought animatronics shouldn't be outside. They're just too fragile for it. Some take the weather really well but most have to be under cover at least.

@@BloodCrestManorOfficial That makes sense. I just don't know too many people with outdoor coverings over 12ft tall for a lot of these outdoor decorations. I am actually constructing a pvc enclosure for the boogeyman I just bought. I also have the immortal werewolf and hovering witch. They've done well so far for the past 2 years.

@@PacificForage Some take it well for sure! But Boogeyman isn't that guy lol I have mine inside the haunt so no worries.

I do have some paper mache props for sale at the gift shop in the haunt (clevers, knives, sickles) but no pumpkins yet! I need them for the haunt but once I make more than I need I'll sell them.

You are the one who really explained so good…and Yes I’ll be careful with this heat it’s driving me nuts, there’s day it’s go to 100 degrees up to112…it’s hot but I’m inside, but making crafts it’s the best to have them out for a tiny while because I make a bowl just with paper mache and brother it’s got brownie! Just for a 45 minute, I got scare seeing my bowl 🥣…this was last year.. but now I make sure my pumpkin didn’t get burn.but it’s ready to make the eyes and mouth, so I can start doing the paper mache clay…thank you again and you have a fabulous day…P.S. are you going to make any Christmas stuff? It's finally cooling off in my area and I'm hoping it stays that way lol The eyes and the mouth design is one of the more fun parts of this so enjoy it and let me know how it goes! I don't plan on making any Christmas stuff at the moment (all my crafts go into the haunted house at this point) but I could see making a Christmas episode someday! They know how to do it right for sure! When I lived in Georgia, I would visit them every year without fail. Such a cool time and one of the inspirations as to why I wanted to open my own!

@BloodCrestManorOfficial I don't know what your doing for background music but I found out the best soundtracks I used was from Midnight Syndicate

They sell it at Spirit Halloween now too! I personally love the stuff by now and use it on a variety of props.

I love it so far! It works great on props and mask. Spirit Halloween is actually selling it in stores this year which helps in the shipping aspect of it lol

I agree completely! The animation and idea could be very nice but the costume and mask arent quite there. I could see taking rolled-up latex and having it hang from the mouth like pumpkin guts. As for the mask itself, you might be able to save it if you go with a black light paint for it but if not a replacement would be needed. Great thoughts on how to make it better! This one is more on the common side but Bobby Strings was much worse. Definitely something off with him.

Bobby was definitely having some problems but I hope to find one of him working as intended. I really like the concept of him but the voice isn't the best.

I would love to open the haunt up to do something like that with small groups or even just cast and crew. Something like that will probably come in the future for sure!👻

Thanks! That is definitely going to be something I get soon! I haven't had time to do any ghost hunts but more coming soon for sure!

The process I use will waterproof it 👍 After it's all done the varnish, exterior latex paint, and spray finish make it practically waterproof, especially from rain/dew.

I didn't know that 😄 I personally really love how the spar varnish works with waterproofing it myself but in a pinch, I will definitely try that.
