It always seems impossible until it's done.
Hello, thanks for coming by. I'm in my mid 50s living in Vancouver BC. Since Covid I've discovered cycling was a great way to stay active and stay in shape. I started with an ebike then transitioned to a road bike, fixed gear and now my new gravel bike.
I love the outdoors. In this channel you will find other ways I try to stay active including camping, hiking, going for walks and of course my cute little dog Copper!
I'm not sure where my next destination will take me but would love for you to come along. So please consider to SUBCRIBE and join me on my next adventure. Set the notification BELL on to see my newest published videos.

Bike Riding Maui Hawaii

#maui #hawaii #bikeride #downhillbike #haleakala Join us in a virtual bike ride in Maui. We checked in at 7:30am. The van took us and our bikes up the mountain to the launch point at 6500 feet. The first ride was a spectacular long downhill ride with 29 switchback left and right turns through the beautiful bi-coastal views of Haleakala Ranch. It was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever...

I recognize a mountain in the background. Looks like Vedder, I lived in yarrow when I was a kid. Sorry for the random comment, lol. I was just trying to find a video of a squirrel surving a big fall, so what are the chances. Unless I'm totally wrong 😂
Coincidentally I was just in Chilliwack but this video was in Vancouver
That looks so sweet. I wish that they had a bike so someone could take a person with a disability
Beautiful video.
Yayyyy❤
what campsite is it?
P20 & P21
Looks sweet have the same bike similar set up just slightly different
Nice traditional touring setup .. do you prefer that over a bikepacking setup 😊
Hi, I'm fairly new so most of my rides are road and gravel. Hopefully I'll have chance to do backcountry so I'll need to get a saddle bag and handle bar bag. Thank you for watching my video!
@@maicopperwings cool
you guys got so much food, do you have to pack and store them away from bears? (not sure if there are bears at Chilliwack) I checked the campground website, it seems that the bear hang is damaged since July 2023, and campers are being asked to store their food with their own bear proof device.
is this in squamish? if so what's the name of that place where you were flying that drone?
The slow mo made me laugh really hard thank you lol
I hope that you and I can meet each other in person and do camping trips together as I am on Disability and I get free camping in each BC Provincial Campground
Hello, that must be nice! Campsites are so hard to book these days
Thanks for sharing your ride experience :)
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.
41: 😂😢🌶🌶
🤩🤩 spectacular
I am 183cm, what size would best suit me, 56? or 58? thanks, I am going to pull the trigger
Hello, I'm 5'7" (173.7cm) My bike is 52cm and it fits me well. Hopefully you can test ride a similar bike before you purchase?
that squirrel wanted beef with that annoying dog
if it cant fight the other squirrel, then its choosing the next smallest thing there lol
😍 😍 😍 this is wonderful 😍 😍 😍
Hello, are those tires tubeless?
Hello, no they're not tubeless. I've read a lot of benefits of tubeless but I haven't try it yet. Thanks for watching the video.
Its always them friggin squirrels
Nice got the Marin as well love it
Loved all the videos from ferry to ferry, thanks for sharing.
Hello, I'm glad you've enjoyed. Thank you for watching the videos.
What's the frame size, it seems small, I ask this question cause I'm torn between a 52 and a 54 frame but there aren't dealers in Italy, my height is 170 cm...if you can describe how the frame fits I'll be grateful. Thank you (I'm more oriented for a 52 frame)
Hello, my bike is a 52 frame. My height is 173cm and it fits me comfortably. The only thing I needed to do was adjust the seat height. Thanks for watching the video.
Thank you for your quick answer! So 52 is the right size for me! I wish you all the goods and if a day you'll come to South Italy for a trip don't esitate to contact me for any needs. Bye
@@biagiocauso2791 I hope you enjoy your new bike! Yes, that would be great to have the opportunity to ride in Italy one day! Thank you!
That was my question also. I'm 5 7 with a long leg but my Specialized Allez is too long. Even after getting a shorter stem and moving my seat, it's never been comfortable. Looking at this bike I'm torn between the 54 and 52. I'm scared with a 31 inch inside leg the 52 maybe too small but also don't want the problems u have with my Allez elite. And no dealers where I am, it's an online purchase. Also wanted the 400mm handle bars
@@zerog4261 Hello, I would say my legs are regular length but my arms are a bit shorter than average. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching the video.
❤
Spicy..😂 !!
My red toy looks just like Copper, except one of his eyes is blue! He also enjoys performing autopsies on all his stuffies.
Haha so cute😅it’s hard to get mad at them😃
My toy Aussie is 10 months old and weighs 8lbs but she has a bobbed tail. She’s our joy, and worships her 17 year old brother who is 20 lbs of mixed breed. She has the same coloring as Copper. She has all the Aussie traits in behavior but in a tiny package. Copper is a sweet heart! I was so excited to find another toy.
Hello, so nice to also hear you have a toy Aussie. Copper is also 8lbs and has all the Aussie traits. I have a video of his first herding lesson. He's turning 7yrs soon. Thank you for watching the video.
He was so amazing herding the sheep. I should find something like that for Evie too.
Why did you buy Nicassio+ not Four Corners? I wonder which bike to buy (I already have Trek Marin 7 and electric cross bike from Bulls) I will appreciate your opinion.
Hello, the Nicassio+ and Four Corners were my two first choice. They're both amazing bikes and have so much to offer for adventures. It really depends on your budget and needs. In my opinion without getting into specs, if you’re looking to do more gravel bike packing short trips with minimal gear maybe up to 20lbs then the Nicassio+ would be a great choice. However, if you plan to do more longer bike touring trips with a full loaded setup and wouldn’t mind spending a bit more then I’m sure you’ll be very happy with the Four Corners. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching the video.
@@maicopperwings Thank You so much for your answer. Next week I would like to go to the Marin dealer and have a look at the bicycles. I'm more inclined to buy Four Corners due to supposedly more comfortable ride. Long trips with panniers are also in my plan for next year. But Nicassio+ gets so many good reviews... that is why it is so hard to decide
That looks like an awesome time.
Digging the wheels/tires! Do you have a link to those?
Hello, no I don't have the link to the tires. They are WTB Horizon, 650Bx47mm. Thanks for watching the video.
@@maicopperwingsI’ve got the same bike similar set up except for a soma front rack love it
@@darrylriley9917 Nice! My last trip I had too much weight in the back so I'm planning to disperse some of it more to the front using bigger dry bag on the fork. Learning as I go. Thanks for watching the video!
Nice video!
They must not have had the campfire ban on. Great channel. I am on disability and get free camping in and BC Provincial Campground and would really love to go with you both
Hello, there was no campfire ban back in April when we went which was great! We just got back camping at Chilliwack Lake and for this trip there was a campfire ban so we brought our propane fire pit. I'll have the video soon so hopefully you'll subscribe and get notification when the video is ready. Also I'll be doing a few bike packing/camping trip this coming week. Thank you for watching the video!
It look cool 😎
Hi. What site # is this? Thanks
Hello, sorry I don't remember the site number. Hopefully I'll find the info and let you know. Thanks for watching the video!
Absolutely Gorgeous ❤
Heeey, a fellow Vancouerite :) Great video, thanks. Adorable frickin' doggo.
I am considering a Australian mini but I don't want one with the tail docked why is this cruel practice done to a beautiful dog?
Самі чудові на світі собаки,тільки ні забувайте за інши породи!
Awesome, incidentally just picked up the same exact kit.
Nice! I've been using mine a few times now. The stove works so well in the wind and together with the pot boils water so fast! Love it!

Lovely to see so many places I have been many times. I feel like Victoria is largely overshadowed by Vancouver because of Vancouver's size, even though Victoria is slightly older and is the Capitol.

Nice video.
My Basset comes to where I am, barks or gunts and then leads me to the door. It works.
That's very smart!
My Aussie is a bell abuser had to take it down, started ringing it and running to the treat cabinet.
Haha so cute! Sometimes Copper abuses the bell too. They are very smart! Thank you for watching the video.
@@maicopperwings I have a similar setup. My female mini Aussie rings the bell and barks until the door is opened.
