Apophenia (n.) - The tendency to perceive a connection or meaningful pattern between unrelated or random things (such as objects or ideas)
This work is a love letter to community, interdependence, and the shared knowledge we possess as living beings in collaboration. I sometimes get down on myself for not being more generative in my creative practice, more expressive with others, or generally more in tune with the frequency of a life well-lived. I catch glimpses here and there of my own potential often when people in my life coax it out of me (intentionally or not). Other times I can zoom out and more intuitively see my path in the grand scheme of my family, my community, the landmass I inhabit, but that's rarer. So if we've chatted about the things that inspire us, something cool one of us discovered recently, or even had some witty banter, I'm grateful for you. Is there someone that has significantly impacted your life that you don't always consciously acknowledge?
