Fan goes up on stage to play Name with The Goo Goo Dolls (O2 Brixton Academy London)
This was the best day of my life so far lol
This took place July 2018 in London (Brixton)
I made a sign asking to play Name on guitar with the Goo Goo Dolls and Johnny actually brought me up on stage. Have no idea how I managed to not mess up the song too much.

GGD started off as a punk band in Buffalo, NY. Not a big fan base. I remember seeing their name spray painted under a bridge. Years later they had a hit song. Then another.......and another. It wasn't punk music but it was good. Great success story!!!

What an incredible memory for this guy. Lifetime memory. He did great obviously. I think a lot of people are missing how incredibly generous it was for John Rzreznik and the rest of the band to give him the spotlight. A strange fan in the stands. Just an incredible moment all around. This is why music exists.
We were at this gig - it was bloody brilliant. He did such a good job, we all felt so nervous for him!!

This is my favorite fan on stage moment.
To me e cool part of this was Jake being able,to play it with one of the most unique tunings for guitar. Making it his own and also keeping it authentic. So cool. Yes, they likely rehearsed this, but it was still a big moment.
