Understanding how the throttle works in the carburettor is very important when servicing these bikes.

A semi-review / demonstration of both the 4up and 2up tents with our recommendations. Also how to pack it away if you need help.
My plunger was not oriented correctly with that notch before it wad tightened. Now my plunger is stuck bad. Can that metal tit be removed so I can pull the plunger out?
Just rebuild my son's carb and hope this is the fix! Thanks
Dude… 3 days of messing with the carb and throttle cable. Thank you 🫡
Never, never, never ever sand anything in or on a Mikuni carburetor and never replace a Mikuni carburetor with anything but a Mikuni carburetor. NEVER EVER!
I know you posted this years ago. Also I knew I forced it in the wrong way. But I just sanded the pin holder back, cleaned it up and it worked like a charm. Popping in and out of the carby no worries now. Your a legend mate. Thanks 😊👍
I got a pw50 I'm working on for my nephew and I changed the throttle cable etc an the throttle doesn't retract by it self i have to pull the throttle back myself and only thing I can think of is it doesn't have the oil pump on it an when you pull the oil pump cable it puts tension onto the throttle cable but I know people remove the oil pumps on these but don't know if they have this issue or if there's a way to fix this issue without the oil pump
Exactly what I needed to see. The plunger goes ALL the way down. I really appreciate it
m comment is i had the same problem it was stuck and woulent fit file and sand fixed it but how did it expand in there to begin with thears no heat
So I had to replace the carb on mine. After re-assembling it, I turned it on and it was immediately on full throttle. Realized that yes the throttle cable is working but when I put it into the carb, it is stuck fully open and will not close for some reason. Any suggestions?
Very very helpful thank you very much
This really help I'm a noob when it comes to this. Not had a bike in 15 or so. I'll have to check this today for me
I seen that happen with a ds80
My kids pw50 I rebuild carb was running good now when I put it on run it wants to fly away I checked carb it's good starts right up idle screw good any one knows what's going on ???
Should the slide fully bw closed on no throttle sorry this what I'm struggling to grasp? Ahah
My bike tried to kill me speeded up on its own 😂holy smokes I need a kill switch had to reach down and turn it off 😮😅
How did you turn the bike off without a kill switch bro?
@Tj-km7ps probably forgot to turn the gas valve on and it ran out of gas
Has the same problem thanks
I replaced my carburetor it start up on full throttle without me even touching it
@@danl5632 possibly air leak, check o rings and seal or idle screw/throttle cable is not adjusted right
@@klasmova2771 I will do that. Thanks.
@@danl5632 no I try everything it cut off now and won't start back up
Found the problem. The stock throttle cable is a bit short for the nibbi carb.the carb slide wont go down as far as it should. So I just put back the stock carb for now, til I get a longer throttle cable.
Mine starts up when I put it in run it goes into full speed I tries messing with the idle screw but does nothing it has orginal carb I rebuild it it was working good
Boutta go see if this will fix mines stuck wide open 2 times first time kinda fixed itself this time shure won't 😫
Did it fix it
