This channel will cover a wide spectrum of topics, but we will be following my journey through my surgery recovery. Talking about fitness, nutrition, recovery techniques, and mindset. The Fitness aspect that I will be bringing to you, will be a more organic from home fitness experience. A lot of techniques that I will be showing can be implemented at the gym, and should be. I focus on a more target focused workout, that targets specific muscles in order to grow them the best. As well as the mind muscle connection. The Diet aspect that will be discussed, will be a practical way to implement easy strategies into your everyday eating. The content on this channel will be acceptable for people of all ages, a lot will be from my perspective and experiences in order to relate. Mindset is huge when it comes to anything, to include fitness, so throughout this journey I will take some time to make videos to cover certain aspects of that mindset. This seems like exactly what I was thinking I was going to do minus the slanted board to work the knee. Instead I'm pretty much going to build it into my lifestyle without actually using it to work out per se as I just don't have the mental time and patience and also the conditioning to even do that like I used to many moons ago unfortunately. And my case I have to go up and downstairs which as of late I have been unable to properly walk in a coordinated comfortable manner up and down like I used to. So this should be useful in using it. I also have not been able to easily extend my leg without getting into a exaggerated position to make it easier with leverage, extending it in a lean back position and then also easily lowering it without pain since December 2023 from an Amazon delivery driver job I used to have. The other part is doing it at least twice a day so right before I go to bed and right when I wake up in the morning. If I keep doing this as a routine going up and down throughout the house whenever from home I should in theory fully fix my knee possibly without surgery over the next 2 to 3 months. I was wondering my own medical history, This is not my first time. I have actually dislocated a knee joint. When I was a child I dislocated my other knee had an arthroscopy on it, and was able to get up without much issue because I was in my youth. Today I have to be very smart and practical since I don't have that time and immediate bounce back like I used to. Hope this helps someone else out there think of unique creative solutions to addressing their own situation.

I dont think my pushup form is wrong. I make sure my body's straight and move in full range of motion. I can only max 60 pushups, which worries me. Im making great progress on situps, mile time, and pull up, though
@@Soufbuns1103 try this training method. You have to work past you limiting number
If you’re in somewhat good shape you shouldn’t have to worry about the sit ups they’re super easy

Hey Will, i’m 30 and recently got an itch to join the military, specifically the Rangers. I’ve been building a fitness plan for myself and i’ll definitely be trying this. Just did 30 push ups, going to try Option #1 as primary, and on busy days at work, i’ll do Option #2. I’ll keep you posted after 2 weeks, thanks and looking forward to your other videos!

Thank you for this! I have a fitness test coming up where I have to do as many as possible without pausing or resting. I have been stuck right around 45.. going to add a weight vest and use your knees and hips technique to see if I can get some improvement

Wondered if the instructors could sense your feet pulling up. Ive been doing situps without bracing my feet under any weight.
I took the Woodberry approach here, best advice I ever got was don’t be a pussy do more. That added 20 reps to my score right off the bat.
With this Ive made tremendous progress with my situps. I feel I may have a shot at making an 80 now thank you very much!!

My sit ups were my weakest for ranger training. I have a good core but just cant do more than 40. Ill try thid quad method. Thank you!
Suitcase carry is my fav exercise on Core workout day haha I do it with a 12 KG kettlebell. I hope I can carry more weight soon.
90 push-ups in 2 minutes is special forces/operations qualifcation stuff really hard to do.
Just signed up with an 11x option 40 contract, I’m hovering at the minimum for push-ups for the ranger pt standards and felt like I’ve been kind of stagnating just knocking out sets of 25-30 throughout the day every day, thank you for the very in depth advice, taking heed of it tonight. I’m shooting to get to 75-80 in 2 minutes for push-ups because I’ve heard of people that knockout 80 push-ups and only get 52 counted. Sounds like the advice I’ve been needing
