Celtic Woman - Every Member
มุมมอง 3.7Kปีที่แล้ว
Hello everyone. This is just a video compilation of every member of Celtic Woman that has appeared in an official DVD or music video. (so I can't include Hannah and Emma unfortunately) Picking the songs was really tricky. I wanted to find a balance between most popular, my favourites, and the songs that best showcase their talents. I hope you enjoy!

A combination of the performances from Home for Christmas with Méav Ni Mhaolchatha, Mairead Nesbitt, Lisa Lambe and Susan McFadden, as well as the performance with Mairead Nesbitt, Susan McFadden, Éabha McMahon and Mairead Carlin.
They're all so talented and amazing! Love all of them.
Uma Cultura ( VERDADEIRA CULTURA!) TAO GRANDIOSA E TAO PARTICULAR,.como a CELTA, deveria ser "deixada" SO PARA OS CELTAS EXERCEREM!! ISSO NAO SERIA VISTO COMO UMA "EXCLUSAO", MAS SIM COMO UM RESPEITO,UM MERECIMENTO, AGRADECIMENTO, RECONHECIMENTO,AO MERITO DELES!! QUE POVOS ESTRANHOS NAO SEJAM INVASIVOS,SOBRE A GLORIA DELES!! SEM FALAR NA MEDIOCRIZACAO DE TUDO QUE E NOBRE!!!
Thanks, I thouroughly enjoyed this but, if i may Gaelig isn't "another language" it is English that qualifies for that accolade. Latin as well.

You forgot the lament that opens homecoming. The one with the pipes and percussion.
You are very correct, I completely forgot about that one
Are some of these ones that were cut from the broadcasts??
You missed Black is the Color.
From "Believe"?
It's not a bonus song or was it?
@@lemonrealsqueeze6826 It was on the DVD.
Both CW versions of Black is the colour I know of (Believe and Postcards from Ireland) were on the CDs as well, so they're technically not bonus songs that are only included on the DVD.
The Orrinoco flow version they did on Slane Castle was on earlier printings of the dvd, bur was later removed for some reason
I'm not sure, but I think that version of Orinoco flow was done by David Downes and when he left the composers position on bad terms, they had to remove it from the dvd and cd because David owned the copyright to it.
@@shannonjennings7829 I dont think so. I became a fan when Songs from the Heart was released, that's the time i bought all the dvd's there was. david was still there when Chloe left right before the second christmas special.
@@hansdroedel5587 I've been a fan since the beginning in 2004. And there are several instances where songs have been pulled from the dvd and cd releases. Songs from the heart had a song sung by Lynn called Carolina rua that was cut, but later appeared on the Solo cd . But I still stand by my statement. Although we may never know.
@@shannonjennings7829 I dont know if i'ts still available but there is (or was) an mp3 of a live version of Carolina rua that was recorded from the Songs from the heart concert. the version of the solo album sounds very different from that version.
@@hansdroedel5587 I would sure love to find that version of the song and compare them. And I've been through at least 2 copies of all their work both as part of the group and individually. Have a soft spot for all of them for various reasons. The new show for the 20 year tv airing will be on here shortly. Can't wait to see how good the group sounds with all the different and possible combinations.
lol i remember ripping the audio from my CW dvd's to listen too those songs on my ipod. Still missins a couple drom some of the broadcast versions of those specials (Never found any HQ versions of those)
Meav's version holds a special place in my heart. It was the first Celtic Woman song I ever heard when I performed it with Australian Girls Choir years ago!! That was the start of my love for the them
A wonderful introduction from Miss Lisa Lambe
May it be is such a beautiful song, I wish we had gotten an official ensemble recording of it as well
a duet between lisa and muirgen would've been fantastic for the 20th anniversary special
Well done! Thank you
I so love this group!
no matter how many versions CW does it will remain a classic for years to come!! im telling you during Postcards tour, i was late by few minutes due to the cab getting stuck in traffic, so when this song came on i was dancing like no tomorrow to my seat!!

Each and everyone of that ladies is a treasure 🤩
I love it but I was looking forward to seeing it you forgot "Ride On" one of the best duets of Mairead with Eabha. Chloe and Meav did a duet on ACC and Pie Jesu Chloe with Lynn!
I'm guessing because Mairead N played violin on both "ride on" and "pie Jesu," and both Orla and Mairead N accompanied "Don oiche ud u mBeithel" they're not being considered duets. They are all great songs though!
@@amygray5285That was my reasoning, but I can add those three songs and update the video if you would like?
@@celticcreations61 Thanks so much for showing me this unique perspective I've never thought much that even though Mairead N was featured along that it would turn those performances as trio performances than duets..
@@celticcreations61 this is you're video to share, I am not asking you to update it, duets are duets.. 🤓👌 if you do any changes may it come from yourself and not from me only if you've forgotten one and you wanted to..
@@ItFlorentin No, all good, I know I technically broke my own rule by including "walk beside me" as Mairead and Susan sing on the last chorus 😂
They're all fabulous, but Lisa Kelly and Chloe really had that special magic together. I still wish we had gotten an officially recorded duet between Lynn and Alex, as well as one between Méav and Orla.
I assume you mean Alex and Lynn on Walking the Night but are you saying you wished there was a duet with Meav and Orla together? Because there isn't one aside a when outside of CW when Meav guest on Orla's own Christmas special!
@@ItFlorentin Yes! I love Méav and Orla's duet of "Do you hear what I hear" their voices blend so well, and I can only find recordings of Alex and Lynn singing "walking the night" on tour where the audio isn't perfect.
@@amygray5285 I think the only duet of Alex and Lynn considered a duet recorded was their Ave Maria version from their group Caranua.
It's great to see Chloe throughout all the years. I really enjoy the early years with her and also when she returned for postcards. It will never be the same now that she's gone :(
1. The sky and the dawn and the sun 2. The prayer 3. Caledonia 4. Newgrange 5. Dulaman 6. The Blessing 7. Scarborough Fair 8. Orinoco flow 9. Granuaile's dance 10. Over the Rainbow 11. always love the opening song cause in a instant your whisked away to one of the "Greatest Journey' of your life... always hate the closing song being You Raise me up or Parting Glass... cause you know the show is over and your going back to reality...
Celtic Woman - walking in the air/ you raise me up A New Journey - The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun/ you raise me up A Christmas Celebration - Carol of the bells/ let it snow Songs from the heart - the call/ you raise me up Believe - awakening/ the parting glass Emerald - awakening/ the parting glass Home for Christmas - walking in a winter wonderland/ joy to the world Destiny - when you go/ westering home Homecoming - Mo Ghile Mear/ the parting glass Ancient Land - Ancient Land/ the parting glass Postcards from Ireland - the dawning of the day/ the parting glass
Homecoming the opening is actually the lament. The pipes and percussion. 20th anniversary: Is Sinne Mna Heirann/The Parting Glass (FOURTH consecutive special to end with The Parting Glass)
I'm still working on some videos with clips from the 20th anniversary
Orla Fallon - Isle of Innisfree Lisa Kelly - the voice Meav Ni Mhaolchatha - what child is this? Mairead Nesbitt - the foxhunter Chloe Agnew - Angel Hayley Westenra - Scarborough Fair Lynn Hilary - My Lagan love Alex Sharpe - True colours Lisa Lambe - a spaceman came travelling Susan McFadden - sometimes a prayer will do Mairead Carlin - I see fire Éabha McMahon - how can I keep from singing Tara McNeil - the Kesh inn Megan Walsh - faith's song Muirgen O'Mahony - down by the salley gardens
@@celticcreations61 I absolutely agree with your choices, although I might add Lisa Kelly - Fields of gold.
Hey guys, Let me know if you have a favourite album. I would have to say mine is Destiny in terms of music, but Postcards from Ireland for the Dvd
So hard!!!! All of them depend on mood! Song's from the Heart and Home For Christmas were dream come trues!
