Mélancolique Modular Ambient Pt.6 (w/ Squarp Hermod+, Veno Echo, Starlab, CEMvelope, Instruo Arbhar)
Finally I got some time to create a new part of my Mélancolique Modular Ambient series. It's the first video after a longer break but I really enjoyed being productive in the process.
This time I've tried to focus on a more generative and sample based approach with the @instruo Arbhar that is processed by @strymon Starblab. I also tried to create organic movements with various modulation and some rhythmic patterns combining the Doepfer A-111-3 and the@venusinstruments Veno Echo.
The video and field recordings are from my latest journey to Tenerife, Spain.
Hope you enjoy it!

This is video was recorded last week based on the same patch that I used for the previous video. I pre-recorded melodies and chords with a launchpad connected to the hermod . I also kept the dusty, broken tape vibe based on generation loss MK2 on the sum. Hope you enjoy it!

I was just about to call it a day - but then, unexpectedly, something inspiring emerged. I hope this brings a little brightness to your day. modules and gear I've used for this video: @strymon starlab @DoepferMusikelektronikGmbH A-111-3 @DoepferMusikelektronikGmbH A-111-6 @DoepferMusikelektronikGmbH A-105-2 @SteadyStateFate Vortices @frequencycentral CEMvelope @venusinstruments Veno Echo @squar...

After four years in Eurorack, I've noticed that I've ended up where I started. Here are some lessons I've gathered, some learned sooner, some later: * I'm in love with East Coast synthesis. * I appreciate analog oscillators and analog filters as essential parts of my sound. * I can focus better on a small and compact system with fewer options. * I want to build a system that reminds me of dusty...
Mélancolique Modular Ambient Pt.2 (w/ Polyend Tracker, Starlab, Magneto, A-111-3, Rampage, LP40)

I was in Tracker mood so I produced a track where I integrated my @Polyend tracker into my modular system. It acts as a sampler (track 1 - 6) but also as a Midi sequencer (track 7). The base of this piece are mostly self recorded samples but also samples from @JoggingHouse Sonic Beds Vol. 1. Patching Notes @Polyend Tracker Samples - @addacsystem6002 Pedal Integrator - Shakmat Dual Dagger - @str...

I finally found some time to work on a modular liveset. Since 2020 i'm into modular, but it was quite a long journey to find exactly the right amount of modules that helped me to boost my creativity but also to stay focused. For that reason, i've created an intentionally small modular eurorack system. The opening track of my current improvised modular live set revolves around pre-recorded sampl...
Astoria Ambient (w/ Polyend Tracker)
มุมมอง 1.5Kปีที่แล้ว
I've just returned from my final big trip of the year. This time, I ventured beyond Europe, crossing the Atlantic Ocean to reach New York City. During my 12-day stay, I found a peaceful spot in the cozy neighborhood of Astoria, Queens, where I aimed to capture the essence of my experience in this piece. Most of the videos were filmed in the bustling streets of Manhattan, while the accompanying ...
Skåne Ambient (w/ Polyend Tracker, Sonic Beds Vol. 1)

Yesterday a relaxing and refreshing trip to southern Sweden came to an end. Since it was a trip from our city to nature, I wanted to keep the mood with this piece. Again I used the @Polyend tracker exclusively togehter with samples from @JoggingHouse Sonic Beds Vol. 1. This time I used more of the song features of the tracker to define a structure. I also used the build-in limiter to sidechain ...
Nørrebro Ambient (w/ Polyend Tracker, Chase Bliss Generation Loss MKII, Sonic Beds Vol. 1)

I'm taking a longer career break at the moment, so I have a little more time to dive deeper into music again. During a recent trip to Copenhagen I attempted to produce a track using only the @Polyend tracker paired with @ChaseBlissAudio Generation Loss MKII. A perfect mobile setup for me for most types of travels. I almost exclusively used the great samples from @JoggingHouse Sonic Beds Vol. 1.
nice dude!
Thanks dude!
Beauty begins at 2:55 Thank you

Nice vibe💫
Thanks alot! ❤
What a great piece. Beautiful sounds and textures
Thanks! The arbhar does a great job here. Needed some time to get into it but now I really enjoy it.
Love it, amazing piece 🙏 great to have you back 🙂👍
Aww, nice to hear that. Thanks! Will definitely try to release more often.
Recently discovered your lovely videos. Glad to see you're back at it.
Thank you very much! So nice to hear that people out there actually listen to this stuff. Hope i can release another video before the year ends.
@ I hear ya. Lots of work to turn music into videos. I try to put more into it and it’s very time consuming. I keep pushing in hopes to have an outlet for my stuff. I’m sure you might have some similar scenarios but in the end I’ll tell you it’s pleasant and fun to listen to your stuff so keep on keeping on! I appreciate you sharing your music!
Beautiful
Super lofi… generation loss adds a lot for that. Beautiful
@@Hessencemusic thanks!
Love it. Thought I was listening to Sigur Rós for a second.
Just so beautiful.
A wonderful peace!
Hypnotizing ...
Sooo nice
Stunning. Loving the tape echo sound. 😍
beautiful sound🎶👍🏼
Nice to listen to this! I love these setups.
The melodies coming out of that hermod+ are unreal! What chord(s) are those? Cool if you don’t know, I don’t know barely any theory. Love this though!
Thank you very much! Tbh I don't know much about scales. I connected a launchpad X to the Hermod+ and used it in scale mode (i think it was Dorian or Phyrgian) to record those notes. That's mostly my favorite way to create tracks.
@@jlnschfr that’s super fun! Love that workflow of creating on hermod.
This is really beautiful and inspiring 😊 I listened to it at least 5 times today. I'm glad I discovered your channel!
Many thanks for the nice words. Really appreciate that!
It’s really beautiful

This blows my mind. Just beautiful

Beautiful work! sounds and images!
lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed this
Thanks for the nice words!
Such a nice calm vibe, perfect for sunday evening 👍 Thank you for that 🙏 …it brings the mood to sit down and call it a day. However I’m grabing my genloss and trying that with my fresh new modular 😊
Thank you very much! I'm glad I could bring some inspiration!
Amazing
thank you!
Nice one, great sounds. How are you enjoying H+ ?
Thank you very much! I came from the previous hermod and really like how they have improved it. Although I only use a tiny fraction of its capabilities. I was hoping that some features of the H+ would be more practical and connectable to create interesting, generative variations like you can do with a Pam Pro for example. What about you? I saw that you also use it in your rack.
@@jlnschfr I love it so far. It's more familiar to me because it feels like I'm either A. working in a daw or B. working on an mpc at times. I agree with you though that it doesn't feel like a generative tool as much as some others though. I keep Pam Pro in my case for that reason. I've been using quadratt into the IN's on H+ to control the generate options though. This way you can randomize new notes, velocity, etc. whenever you want, on the fly.
Nice 😊
Nice ! Well done !
This was lovely, thank you.
Thanks for listening mate!
Inspiring stuff.
Thanks!
This is awesome 🚀
Thanks 🔥
Very nice!

Very nice!
thank you very much!

Wow..what an immensely touching track...i generally use my tracker to create all kinds of angry, decimated, splatter beat debauchery... I've never heard anything like this from a tracker. That is really something....stunningly beautiful...😢
Thanks for the really nice words!
The sweet spot is immensely touching splatter beat debauchery.
@@treesurgeon2441 ☺️
Beautiful! I am glad to see someone else is doing some decent ambient on the Tracker!
Thank you very much!
Really nice to listen to. Like the subtle detuning effects giving it a drifting quality
Thank you!
