Hi Friends,
This channel will show several things. I will be showing the jobs I do using my John Deere 2025R tractor and how I approach them. I will be walking you through the extras I add to my 2025R and other equipment, plus every maintenance I perform. I will also be showing you day to day projects I do in my garage and on my property. I will try and show you as much detail as possible and explain each step as I go. Some videos will be more in depth then others with the hope you can use them to learn how to do theses things on your own equipment. I appreciate you checking out the channel.

Do you have a link to the technical service bulletin? My John Deere dealer is acting like they have never heard of this issue
This machine is not worth the extra money for what it is compared to the 1025r. Virtually same machine that they put bigger rear tires on. Same width as 1025r only higher and easier to tip. Same loader, same backhoe as the 1025r…do yourself a favor and go to a 2032r over this 2025r. Better yet look a kioti tractors. Their comparable model dominates the 2025r in every way and is much more affordable.
Honestly they can pull a 42 if you want to run one. I will have to get my hands on one soon.
I really love this saw.
@@MightyLittleGreenMachinewould love this saw 🙄
Just bought the same tractor, great videos and insights on this unit. Found a dealer 11,000 below JD’s website. Had to take it home. Backhoe loader. Very interested in your hydraulics setup. Watched all your content. Thanks for posting!
Thank you for watching. They are great machines.
@ taking delivery tomorrow. Forgot to mention how helpful it was to see you transition from the 1020r to 2025r. Tough decision at first, very confident in the purchase now. Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving. You won’t be sorry going with the 2025
Nice, good feeling when you get to peel it out of the ground!
For sure
Just curious I have a 2025R & woodland mills stump grinder 20-30 minutes and it’s level No home to fill or stump to dispose of
It’s on my list for next year for sure.
Hey Happy Thanksgiving.....
Happy Thanksgiving to you too

Nice to see you back! Hope all is well! 💪
It’s good to be back. Thank You
Older models are better made
No doubt
I installed the same grill guard on my 1025r. I like it because I can still install and remove four 41 lb suitcase weights off of the front frame. Most grille guards extend down blocking access. The tradeoff is that if i don't have the weights on. A stick could get in under the guard. I plan to fashion small flat plate to cover that area when its otherwise exposed. BTW, i installed my guard without taking off the factory frame. Either way the install is pretty easy. Great video!
I was thinking about putting something below as well. It saved my grill the other day.
Hey Neil, did you get a recall notice for year 2025r brake pedal
Not Yet
The foams should fit snug wasted space and looks dumb
Have they announced the winners of the big toolbox giveaway yet
They will announce the winners very soon.
I'm no expert by any means but the older 2 series was more capable, the new 2025r uses the same loader and backhoe as the 1025r . Really the only difference is the larger tires, little heavier and price. Either way your probably using 4ft maybe 5ft attachments depending on the attachment. Can probably handle a 5 ft snowblower or mower but rototiller or something probably want 4ft. To me if your spending more money should get more capabilities.
I agree 100%.
Hey bud, just bought one Started fine the first time, let it run and idle for 15 minutes, but I can not for the life of me, 40 pulls later, get it started a second time… it smokes after the 4th pull, but nothing…
I have had good luck with mine. It may need the carb adjusted
The low side needs adjustment. Plenty of great tutorials on how to adjust a chainsaw carb. I bought a proyama 68cc and it was the same as yours. I adjusted the carb and starts in two pulls every time now

Someone needs to buy a grease gun and some grease. That little tractor is screaming for some lubrication.
Actually, it was just lubed. That’s the microphone making that sound. I lube it every 10 hours.
Hi Neil. When I am lifting heavy dirt/gravel the boxblade is a great counter weight, but I still hang 4 suitcase weights on the support of the boxblade. They will be sideways. Cheers
I have absolutely done that before too
Nice to see you again it’s been a while though I have been watching some of your older ones. How’s your knee doing?
My knee is getting better. I’m still in physical therapy, but it’s certainly way better than it was before the surgery. Thank you for asking.
Hello. I noticed bolt-on- hooks on your loader. Do you like them? I also have a JD 2025R. I have just finished spreading 10 loads of gravel on my driveway extension. The tractor made the job much easier.
I do like them a lot. I do use them on a regular basis. I went with that set up because it gives more strength to the center of the bucket. The John Deere buckets are known for being weak there and bending.
Can you share what kind of shed you have in the background? Thanks !
That is a shelter logic it 13 x 22 I believe. I ordered it from Tractor supply at the time they were the least expensive
Do you have the top/tilt link or just the top link? Is it a John Deere part or after market?
I do not yet have the side link. I am going to add it. I have the summit hydraulics kit which added three functions one from my third function, and then two for the rear and the hydraulic top is an aftermarket top link.
Please grease that front end loader. It’s screaming for some lubricant.
It’s actually the microphone I just greased it. You don’t hear that noise when you’re driving it
Hey buddy if you have access use a compactor it will be like driving on the road
I happen to have one and I’m gonna try
In the southeast we call that Crusher Run (or crushin’run). Pretty much every gravel road and decent driveway around here is made with it. When ordering a load if you mention you want a road base material, this is what you’ll get unless you specify you only want clean stone. Sounds like you might’ve missed a lower loader grease fitting. My grapple with squeak like that if I open it before I grease it.
I was very impressed with it
Good morning Neil. Haven't seen you for awhile. I believe that you will love the crushed gravel. I'm not sure what kind of stone that is because of the color but it's limestone in our area. In the last week we've put down 6 tri-axle loads of it on our road coming into our property. Plus another one in our driveway. It will pack down like concrete. The plain stone will wash away in a hard rain, this will not. But it needs to be packed in well. We usually just drive over it several times for a day or two then normal wear and tear. After a rain or two you'll see more gravel on top and less of the fine stuff. The only thing that I use the loose gravel for is a french drain or to set a tractor attachment on so water can run under it and not sit in dirt. If you go over it several times with the box blade it will level out and look great as well as be strong. I'm not trying to tell you what to do or how to do it, I'm just letting you know what works well for me. God bless and have a wonderful day. 👍👍🙂
I ended up really liking how it came out and how it worked so it turns out it wasn’t really a mistake. God bless you, my friend.
@@MightyLittleGreenMachine God bless.
love gearwrench hate the foam, all those sockets should be standing in 1 drawer organized btwn metric and sae stand the pliers up and tighten up the spaces a ton on the wrenches. The 27" has way too many skinny drawers so you have to lay the sockets down which takes up way too much space and look at the first drawer with the bit set and how spaced out the sockets are that are standing. Foam looks nice but it is the worst when boxes cost as much as they do.
It is certainly not for everyone and it is not the only way that we are doing tools. This is just another option. I appreciate your feedback.

Yes.
Good morning Neil. I'm a day late watching this video. Yesterday was an early and long day. Myself, and a friend, his son, and a friend of his son's are working on putting gravel down on our quarter mile lane coming back into where we live. We still have 2 tri-axel loads coming on Monday morning. They hauled 4 in Yesterday. We're taking today off because of the rain. Anyway, so far it's looking pretty good. Also, DIY My Way did a video about a product called "Dexpan". It's used for breaking up big rocks. I personally haven't used it yet but it may be a big help with those 2 that you dug up. So, in the meantime God bless and have a wonderful day. 👍👍🙂
That's great you are getting your road fixed up. I hope it goes great. These rocks are not a problem I was just trying the ripper. I'm about ready to spread gravel on my road now. God bless you.
@@MightyLittleGreenMachine Well, we had the remnants of Hurricane Debby blow through here this morning. It washed out a lot of the gravel that we put in yesterday. I was feeling sorry for myself for about an hour then we took a ride around the local area. It was a mess. We lost a little gravel but a lot of people lost a lot more. There was a lot of flooding. We live halfway up a mountain so we were ok. I can dress up the road in a couple of hours but I really feel bad for the people whose property was under water. I'll be up and out early again tomorrow. God bless and have a wonderful day. And please say a prayer for the people affected by this storm. 🙏🙏👍
@@johngersna3263 That is awful. I will say a prayer for them.
@@MightyLittleGreenMachine Thank you.
Those rocks got bigger and bigger as you dug. I was starting to think those 2 rocks might be 1 big rock! lol
It is crazy. Luckily those rocks are low enough to cover in gravel. I was just demoing the ripper.
Start making a farmers wall
I have a big pile up in my upper yard I am going to build a wall with.
Good video, I think a versatile tool. I use my backhoe for holding logs up to cut for firewood also. With that instead of bucket would be pretty good. You have to work around bucket sometimes to cut to size
That is a great idea I am going to try that. I’ll make a video
I do cut wood by myself with the backhoe it is easier jumping on and off for some reason. But normally a friend and I do it together. I pick up log and swing in front of him and he cuts it into pieces then grab another. Works good!
You need to start a rock selling business. 😬
You are not kidding my friend
I could see a few uses other than stumps for it.
There is a different use coming Thursday
I usually start with the bucket and dig as close to the stump as I can, breaking all the little stuff and removing the dirt. When I come across a fat root that the bucket won’t break I move to a different spot and dig there. Then I’ll swap to the ripper and cut the fat roots. I usually go back to the bucket to pull the stump itself out of the hole. Bucket/thumb combo seems to give a better grip IMO. I don’t think there’s any ‘right’ way to do it, just whatever works best in the moment.
I am going to continue to try different ways and test it. Thank you for the idea I will try it.
Good morning Neil. To me, I wouldn't be able in my head to justify the expense. Mainly because it would be silly to buy the ripper without the quick change bracket because it would take forever to change back and forth without it. Also, I really didn't see where it actually made taking out a stump any easier or much faster. Of course I wasn't there doing it and it's hard to tell watching a video. Anyway, God bless and have a wonderful day. 👍👍🙂
I’m still not sure. I need to do more testing god bless you
Looking good brother
Thank you sir.
