The main ethical issue is that you are creating human beings and then eliminating the ones who have disorders. I am not criticising parents who have this, I think it is very understandable to do this and the intetion behindit is a good intention, but I think life begins at conception, so It doesn't sit right with me to eliminate the person with a condition, even at this very early stage. I use person as another word for human by the way, I don't think it's a separate thing. Of course the embryos here are not on a course to continue developing further as they need a urterus for that, so that makes it distinct from aborting the life of a disabled foetus or embryo in the womb. PGD is definitely preferable to that.

it's nice to play around with science, however, this hardly replaces quality DNA coming from a healthy lifestyle and a non-capitalist past. this is more like a second chance for all those career girls who want it all - but will never have it.

I'm 37 and struggle with endometriosis and I don't think I'm a girl who wanted all and won't have it as you say. Sometimes natural pregnancies don't happen and you should learn more about it before you can even talk about it

Increases in IVF clinical pregnancy rates were seen following PGS in women who were over the age of 35. The largest increase in rates occurred in women aged between 38 and 41. PGS had very little impact on the rate of pregnancy in women below 35. Taking into account the effects of increasing age on fertility, these results are not surprising. They suggest that women over the age of 35 are more likely to benefit from PGS and that there may be very little benefit in the use of PGS to improve IVF success rates in women under 35. If a chromosomally normal embryo is transferred into an older woman, the chances of successful implantation and pregnancy are not significantly different to that of a younger woman. Embryos which look healthy on examination under the microscope can still potentially have problems that may affect successful implantation and pregnancy. Single miscarriages are relatively common, with 1 in 4 pregnancies ending this way. Multiple miscarriages however are less common and can be caused by chromosomal abnormalities. Therefore, choosing only the healthiest embryos for transfer may help to prevent this. Which I came to realize that it is true during my treatment at Bio tex.
