Thank you sir. I had unexpected OBE with NDE type characteristics. It's been a wild ride full of wonder and torment. Reality certainly has many aspects. There are similarities and differences with all NDE accounts. Is it like a many levels thing? Is it that disembodied people are still in an ethereal but individual space?

Storing memories is a function of a living brain. Whatever this man recalls from his ordeal, happened to him when he was very much alive.

This is the only NDE I’ve heard where the person has made it all the way to the light. I always thought if you made it to the light then the silver cord would be detached and you couldn’t return at that point. Interesting

Wow I’m so pleased God sent your daughter to help you and how beautiful she was now she’s in heaven I have told my family and am going to Right in my will that I not be resuscitated as i experienced my daughter-in-law could feel the same as you and it’s bloody scary realised how this experience , the Medical profession ignore. This happens to all people that have that done to the where they paralyse. They said you can’t feel that you can and you can. It’s like you can’t tell anyone it’s very scary stuff

The meaning of life is simply experience but people take experience for granted so they seek other reasons.

I was angry for a long time after my own experience as it took away my ignorance and the need for faith as I now had a knowledge beyond description. If I tried to share it, people always took it the wrong way, so I started keeping it to myself. It added to my frustration of being in and living in the mortal realm due to the brief exposure to the light and the person I spoke to. The light was everything; Love, intelligence, wisdom, creation... the source of everything in existence. No words can describe it. It took up until I was in my 50's to see why I had my experience, as I would leave the church my family had raised me in and it had been part of our family history for generations... Knowing what I had learned, I could not tolerate the hypocrisy. Thank you for sharing. Time and experience will show you why you've been gifted with the light.
