This is one of my 6 sessions at Laguna Seca doing HPDE. My car is a 2011 WRX with turboback, intake, tune, sway bars, and star spec tires.

HPDE1/2 at Infineon with NASA on 3/10. This is run 3 of 4, when I lined up early and the only run of the day where I had a decent amount of open track in front of me. Based on crude video lap times, I was probably 6-7 seconds faster than my last trip there. I tried to qualify into HPDE3, but they didn't have enough instructors to let me do it. :/

My 2nd auto-x ever. For reference, in my first, I was about .5s faster than my buddy's '06 mazdaspeed 6, and this day I was about 3.5s faster.
kirkwood snowboarding 4/7/11 powder gopro monopod
มุมมอง 1.6K13 ปีที่แล้ว
Did a day trip at Kirkwood on 4/7/11 for about 12" of fresh powder. The conditions were less than ideal, since it was super warm the week before (60 and sunny) which left a layer of ice below the fresh. Still can't complain about these conditions in April, though!

    You nailed the camera angle. You can literally see everything from where the camera is mounted. Nice job.

    it's a Tanga monopod I got from Radio Shack, but they don't seem to sell it anymore. For reference, it was $15, and reasonably sturdy. I only broken it when I took a big spill, and now it's bent to the point where one segment will no longer extend. lasted two years, though.

    Nice video, however I'd say that you should remove all the gopro audio because it doesn't sound very nice.

    I actually wasn't sure what gear to be in for a couple of the turns (mainly turn 6), so I tried different things on different sessions. I have a cnt turboback with cobb intake, no issues with the 92dB limit.

    Nice Video, check out mine of me and my first time ever on a track at Laguna Seca. It helps to see what gears you are running in the turns. Do you have a downpipe, if so, any issues with the 92 decibel limit at Laguna Seca?

    Nice video! I just got my go pro and i found how to correct the weird "clok" sound just have to put the rubber thing that comes with the camera at it's place(check manual, hard to expain on youtube with a iphone) and tight every screw with a screw driver. Worked very good for me!

    it's an extendable monopod with 3 segments, so the length varies. i use video on setting 3 (720p, 60fps)

    yeah, I'm using the handlebar mount. I tried it backwards with the tripod mount, but it felt WAY heavier in my hand. I also like having the big grip in my hand as opposed to the other end.

  • @EddieHuntX
    @EddieHuntX 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm assuming your using the Handlebar Seatpost Mount? Or did you modify it? I have the same monopod but i'm using the GoPro Tripod Mount and use teh stick backwards...
