I drove for the first time to kasol.. and i drove it completely safe.. If you want to drive, just make sure you are confident enough to drive..hilly roads are tricky, just make sure you always drive in your lane.. do not overspeed.. You can drive to Mashobra.. if you are relaxed while driving and keeping the driving rules in mind..

For example, u told about steep parking at ur hotel in Mashobra. Such things no one talks about. I want to know 2 things from u. 1. Which dash cam u r using? @@abhim7 Hi, First of all thank you for watching and appreciating the efforts. We use one of our spare phone cam as a dashcam, but planning to improve to Gimbal for car for better results, we don't use separate mikes for now too.. just phone mic, and software we use is of Microsoft's Clipchamp.

Ideally one need International driving permit for that country, but in Bali you can rent out scooter on Indian Driving license through local shops/travel agents. That too for cheaper price..

If you're new driver you make sure you watch and read rules for driving on hills ..they are bit different from driving on plains .. and mostly people don't know that... Roads are good ..mostly four lane now.. but still has many turns as they are hilly roads.. also your hotel might not have that much good connectivity with 4 lanes.. as local roads are like typical hilly roads.. Make sure you always drive in your lane.. and keep changing the gears as per power requirement.. Though it's easy to drive there on highway.. just need to take extra care when driving inside Shimla, roads are still narrow..
